On the DVD of Soap the creators said that Chuck and Bob were only supposed to guest star a few episodes but so many fans wrote in that they kept them as regulars. I think Burt, Bob and Chuck made the show work the most. At least the comedy side of it

This man is very funny, I saw his show in April on a cruise ship and it was excellent. I have seen plenty of talents, however, Jay and Bob are the best by far. I see why he won a Tony last year. Judge an actual show versus a television interview.

i remember watching Soap and i just loved him, got to see his first television special and the fact that he can throw his voice so well, he had a mouse walking up and down stairs under the stage, i still remember cracking up and i was only about 7 yrs old at the time. he is wonderful.

Jay Johnson is a must see. If you can ever catch him at a smaller venue, like the Ice House in Pasadena CA, you will see up close what an incredible talent he really is.
