Hi Anthony....I kinda go through what you go through... dont let this disablity take over your life...what i do that you did not discuss was pray...keep asking God to help you with this....you will see change.
@foxu911 Be glad that you don't have this condition. It's not a matter of being able to fake it, its about trying to get it to not occur. Those of us that have it, would really like to be like normal people. If we have an attack we are not, by law and doctors orders, to drive. It is considered reckless endangerment.
I am on that exact medicine for my narcolepsy and cataplexy. I does work. I find it hard to enjoy things that are very funny because I can still have a cataplexy attack.
At least he has a positive outlook on life and of his disorder. He is right when he says that there are worse things out there. Not that I am saying it is not a struggle.
i have a small bit of it where i fell tried of it all the and doze off in college. This got me kick out of military, and not great to have. To me the medicine gives me more energy but i still feel tried. Its little hard to deal with what i have and more pain in ass to those who have the serious version.
@ssnell2009 I am sorry that you were kicked out of the military. I am on Xyrem, and it has been working well for me. I am currently in college, and was diagnosed my senior year of high school. I have the severe version, and its not at all pretty.

I have cataplexy, close enough i LOVE that i have it cause very few others do.
Thankfully I haven't experienced this

I just got diagnosed with narcolepsy and got a perscription of nuvigil seems alot more cleaner then adderal.
