  • that asian girl needs to move the seat up for cody

  • LOL WHERE IS HIS SHOES BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @888564342432

You are kidding? Even for a mail order bride she is ugly.

Two types of men are attracted to her.

Pedophiles and those white guys that cannot get a white girl.

  • I feel that Codin feels attracted to Chad.

  • These survival shows are way toooooooooo setup and scripted.

  • @888564342432 She´s ugly as hell xD

  • cody you are amazing!!!

  • Cody, I always bring extra clothes snack food knife and the means to start a fire.

PS I always have a compass.

    Joe-R

  • I have his book. 98.6

  • nice bedroll cody

  • I am lucky I live in one of the most densely populated countries on earth :D I have been lost once in the forests here but it doesn't matter really, walk 2 hours in any direction and you have found civilization XD

  • 5:57 virgin alert!!!

  • i was born in Arizona and i practiced living in the wild as often as i could. often we would go out into the desert with nothing more than a knife. and survive for a week. sure miss it now

  • he shouldnt have thrown away the flashlight, they could have taken off the top of it, broke the outer piece of the bulb, and used the film to light a fire (like les stroud did). Or they could have just used it to look around at night

  • 0:56 Lol what the fuck does he have a can for ? To make the light reflect, yea good luck with that. The best thing to do with that is use it for a water container, not much of a container all crinkled up like that is it.

  • @DarthScosha The reflecting thing works.

  • @jrrblue99 Ye, just not with a soda can though

  • cody's a dude

  • Thanks for the upload.

  • 5:56 umm

  • Cody you crazy fucker great video's

  • cody lundin is an expert in every sense of the word.

  • lol that dude who said "I'm allready lost and we're not even in desert" ... dunno...he's got a very slim chance to survive

and the surprise about seeing Cody without shoes ... just plain stupid. "omg where is his shoes" lol. typicaly for people who are so dependent on novadays stuff.

  • he has a cool voice :)

  • I would love to do this. Cody seems like a great guy to learn from. Although his area is nothing like where I live it would still give me a bunch of useful skills to use anywhere.

  • I watch Dual Survival every week and of the two on the show I like Cody the most. I am amazed by our he is always barefoot. I live in AZ and I take a lot shit with me when I go out, my knife, a flashlight, a Jacket, fire starter, gun, toilet paper, a towel, water, extra bullets, etc.

  • The driver sounds like a flaming faggot.

  • I wonder if Cody smokes weed...

  • @bigchief70

wonder no more Chief; the answer is yes!

  • @pajiad191 I bet he gets the good shit too. But hey! That makes him all the more awesome.

  • cody definately is awsome but anyone that hates on his best survival buddy dave is full of it. he is awsome too and probably even better at survival. just pure badass! ;)

  • @SeriusChevy yo buddy no hattin on either! ha i met both of them and talk to cody all the time

  • instantly loveable guy

  • @johnniej313 I know that Mike Townsend is soooo loveable!!

  • It's a shame, most of the people on TV shows with him are douche bags. I hope one day I will be able to attend some of Cody's courses.

  • this guy is a beast!!

  • lol i skiped the introduction to like 54 seconds odd and i just here him say Erection inpending doom xD

  • cody is a Bushhippy...XD

    AWESOME!!!

  • Cody is awesome.

  • I've been reading survival books and watching the shows for years. But I have no real experience. I know a good number of methods for starting a fire, but in reality I'd probably freeze to death =(

  • 5/5 Cody Rocks!!!

  • 5/5 Cody Rocks!!!

  • cody is awesome in the outdoors i just think he'd crazy to go barefoot thought.

  • \the best mule deers

  • Cody's like, oh, tampons, you can find a million of uses for these :P

  • hey i live in arizona and i was wondering how i could get signed up for your survival class

  • @megakaito1

    Go to: codylundin (dot) C O M

His 2011 classes are up now, and are filling up fast!!

  • I really don't know of anyone who goes hiking without a lighter or a firesteel and knife or something else to start a fire and some kind of emergency shelter even if it's just a cheap emergency blanket. And who would go hiking in the desert without bringing at least a couple quarts of water. I carry a survival kit whenever I go to any outing and perhaps most people don't but I don't think most people would go hiking with nothing.

  • @lephotography

You are one of the smarter hikers bringing survival kits with you.

However MANY people do not, as seen from all the rescues that take place in our National Parks alone.

    People underestimate the desert.

Just in Az, Several Thousand people a year get dehydrated in the Grand Canyon with 400+ needing rescue due to dehydration or heat illnesses.

Yearly in Phoenix ,joggers taking little or no water become dehydrated needing rescue.

Cody wouldn't say anything if it wasn't an issue

  • @jscanyonYes, I understand the point. But my point is that why does Cody spend the initial part of the show getting rid of the hiker's stuff? Doesn't what they have realistically indicated what the average hiker may have? He got rid of someone's dental floss and flashlight. Why? They had it on them already. Dental floss: cordage. Toilet paper: tinder. Rubber toys: firestarter. I'm just saying he should just let them have whatever they came with and show them how they could use it to survive

  • @lephotography

I understand your point, but also you must understand this is a show and that's what the producers wanted- the kids without anything extra- that's what They, the ones making the show wanted.

The ones with the money get to say how the show will be done.

  • @jscanyon that makes sense not that you put it that way. It's too bad they're not as concerned about actually teaching real survival skills rather than just making the kids look foolish. I was under the impression that Cody controls the shows. I'd probably be much better if he did. Thanks for the reply!

  • In Cody's classes he actually does the same thing, takes away extra stuff. His motto is "the more you know the less you need" and that is what he teaches: How to do more with less

When it comes down to it when the SHTF many people in survival situations have exactly that: nothing. He teached what to do when you loose everything, your pack, your direction, how to use your mind to survive.

The producers wanted to film him teaching a class, this is as close as you will get to being on his courses.

  • I respect Cody and understand the intention of the show but don't understand the reasoning behind stripping the kids of their stuff from the beginning. It would be more realistic if they had just let them had whatever they had with them and let them try to survive based on that. In one episode Cody takes away a girl's watch. Why?? I always wear a watch and would not be taking it of when I go hiking. You can use a watch on conjunction with the sun to figure out directions. The kids could hav

  • @lephotography

Cody takes away watches because he wants no outside influences, people rely on them much. "The only thing that matters is the big glowing ball in the sky"-CL.

When figuring directions he teaches how to do that with shadows, sticks and the sun. People get distracted and depressed when they are watching "how much time has passed" since getting lost.

  • @jscanyonYes, I understand why he does it, and I think it's great to know those skills if you want to learn bushcraft and live with nature, but my understanding of the show and of his survival course to to teach you what to do in case you're in an emergency situation while hiking. Well in an emergency situation you are going to use the resources you have on you to survive and get out. You're not going to discard all the stuff you have and try to survive on the bare minimal. That's just stupid

  • @jscanyon Hmmm...thinking the watch was a rolex....LOL ....Cody is no dummy

  • @SundayPonder

    LOL! Yah, funny man!

  • cody wins

  • I am not sure where these people are from, when you are in the high desert area, the most important thing that all hikers carry is water. There are plants that can help survive and medical use. I am from NM and I practice survival , next to Arizona where Cody live.

  • Dissonant you can find him by googling his name his survival school cone up it's called aboriginal living skills

  • Cody doesn't wear shoes because it is part of his survival technique and outlook on life he feels more connected to the earth in that way and it also makes him move slower so he picks up or notices things other might miss because he is constantly looking down where he walks it is also leas jarring to the body because he steps toes first ancient people had healthier feet aswell this was achieved by not wearing shoes

  • This is a little strange, why doesnt he wear shoes? also there seems to be alot of plants and tree life considering they are in a desert

  • @weztech -- Um... not all deserts are just barren wastelands of sand.... ~ "The Sonoran Desert has the greatest diversity of vegetative growth of any desert worldwide" ~worldwildlife(dot)org

  • Your the man Dude, keep the good work

  • i use to hate on cody when i watch duel survivor on discovery channel, but now i have a newfound respect for cody.

  • I only discovered Cody a few weeks ago and I started researching him and he is now my favorite hero and I love and respect what he does.

  • Hes a beast. He would break you in half then eat your liver for a snack and take your brain for dinner.haha

  • Cody ain't no "bush hippie" as dave canterbury always calls him. he is a bad ass and he knows it. and the way he is so humble about it makes him even more of a bad ass.

  • @playdrums I'm sure dave was joking, both of them rule in my book.

  • Once i got over my epiphany, i said "where is this guys shoes" and to think i fag~art my condoms. So i begged Wladziu Valentino Liberace (May 16, 1919~+~+~* to forgive me and undressed Cody ( minus his shoes with my EYES OMG!) The trip was worth every PENNY... please tell all your friends!!!!!NOW!

  • @HaliacetusLeuco lol, sorry but.... WHAT?!

  • that ball could be useful even if u were just to burn it for a signal, lots of black smoke

  • Why do people always scream at helicopters and planes?

In the AZ summer, I'd give these lily whites 3 maybe 4 days before they're all dead.

  • People actually didnt wear shoes. They went barefoot. So when you put on a big shoe you make your fet soft.If you never wore shoes since birth your feet would be tough enough

  • Well people didn't wear shoes thousand of years ago .They survived actually very well.So why put shoes on.

  • Does anyone know how to get in touch with Cody...I live in AZ and would love to hook up with him and learn some local survival skills

  • @Dissonant1975

    w w w codylundin -dot- com

  • @Dissonant1975

    w w w . codylundin . c o m

Look at the botom of his page for his email

  • Why risk snake or scorpion bites, cuts, infections by not wearing shoes. Not very practical of a survivalist to implement unnecessary risk.

  • Does Cody use deodorant and things like that? What about toothpaste? What if he breaks a bone or has a toothache, what bush-remedies do you rub on it?

What berry does he eat to get so bulked up?

  • @pinworms70 1 Ask him about toiletries yourself. 2: If he breaks a bone or something hes screwed and will die if alone out in the desert. He prevents this by not being an idiot. 3: Hes bulked up from a physically demanding lifestyle and hell, may even work out.

  • @pinworms70

First think about your questoins: Is deoderant necessary? Is toothpaste?

What did people do before health care for a broken bone or tooth ache?

He works out and takes care of his body- to prevent having to go to the Dr or Dentist.

  • @jscanyon Lighten up Francis, I wasnt trying to make fun of your Man-Crush, it was a simple question for my own interest and not intended to curdle or bind your stockings in any way.

  • @pinworms70 A simple 'Thank you for answering my question jscanyon' would've sufficed.

p.s. know your audience and the author behind the comment, an ad hominem makes you look foolish.

  • lol he fingered the bathroom tissue

  • @fibonacci1904 who calm down kiddie. acting like an idiot on youtube doesn't make you seem cool.

  • Dual Survival is one of my favorite shows now. I like Cody's way of using less then is needed and not wasting energy on useless things.

  • @fibonacci1904 lame jokes are lame.

  • The barefoot thing is ridiculous really. Indians, aboriginals, in that region covered their feet as soon as they had materials to do it.

  • @sig0 not really true...they wore shoes occasionally when the terrain was really ruff...but not ussual...i also never wear shoes unless i have too...and i rarely have to (except when walking through blackberry bushes)

  • @dliwehtfollacsutube I wonder if he goes without 21st century medicine, just like the Indians, when he sustains a foot injury from walking barefoot in the high desert. The guy knows bushcrafting but the shoe thing is nonsensical gimmick.

  • @sig0

He is a personal friend at the no shoe thing is not a gimmick. His feet are like leather, I have hiked with him and watched him pull cacti thorns out of the side of his foot. Most of your 21st century medicine is unnecessary- money making gimmicks. Cuts, colds, broken fingers or toes usually heal up on their own. Serious infections, punctured lungs are reasons to visit the Dr- but he takes care of his body to Prevent such injuries.

  • @sig0

Check out the Hadza near Tanzania. Many of them NEVER wear shoes as well as other Aboriginals, tribes in South America.

  • what kindof idiot is barefooted in the sonoran desert with all the cacti and scorpions and rattle snakes.

  • @KaneAndersonW Snake fangs can penetrate shoes and most boots. Cactus spines too. I'm not sure of scorpions...none where I live to test.

  • i like your video.

  • he is the best no question about it

  • Like in all his videos, hes really down to earth, highly educated and informative. I want to know his work out program is, the guys a truck!

  • cody is freakin buff

  • He is the real deal. One of the best.

  • questo xe n'altro onto dea savana!!!

  • it isnt even that bad wearing no shoes i always wear no shoes in the bush lol my feet are so tough thanks for posting 5/5

  • I don't get it, native americans crafted footwear, if he was a real survivorman he would know how to.

  • aborginies didn't have footwear and thats what he bases his skills off of not native americans so there you go.

  • @secretsquirrell13

then why not move to Australia?

  • i guess arizona is a cheaper subsitute.

  • Sense you make not!

  • ha ha ha, a flashlight to minimize the fright.

  • lol, awesome,

  • the bare feet is awesome. hes a tough man.

  • Cody is a legend

  • hahaha you let him have his ball.
