1985, 7th grade Valentine's Day dance, I danced to this with my so called boyfriend Malcolm-who I only "went with" for four days. He smelled like peanut butter the whole time. I still remember what I was wearing!!! After this song went off, I ran outta there like Cinderella because my Papa was waiting in the car and didn't know I snuck into the dance!! Whoa this brings back some great memories!

I found myself searching for this song, because I found myself crying to the same song twenty plus years again same song, man with the same name differnt person . I still feel this was one of the best groups and they never got what they deserved. I remember the last time I saw all five of the original members they brought T C out and he was really sick and everyone in the Apollo THEATER was crying
before i heard who this group was, I would have bet my last dollar that it was one of those real old school groups singing this, like the moments or any other early seventies group with the high soprano or falsetto or maybe its that high female singing voice whatever it's called it was popular back then and it made a comeback with switch and debarge but only Eddie Kendricks did it so well even better. no harm to anybody cause it was and still is hitting hard today,,,,,love
