Judging from the accent, I suppose you're American. If you're interested in these kinds of (German) poems, you might wanna check out a recording called "Liebesgrüsse aus Hollywood." It's a professional recording of the most famous German voice-over artist reciting dozens of these poems with trip-hop music underneath. This particular poem is also included, spoken by Clint Eastwood's German voice, very cool.

The whole point is that it is a poem.  I put the music and and pictures together to accentuate the reading of the poem. Without the words the video makes no sense.
