The NKP berks were originally built with only one head light, when the Fort Wayne group rebuilt the 765 recently they chose to back date the engine to it's as built appearance thus removing the mars light.
NKP 769 at steamtown still wears its Mars light, and would make a good restoration candidate if some group outside of Steamtown would start the fund raising effort.
Hmmmph. I have no idea and I'm an accomplished musician!! This music was added by the photo shop when my dad had his 8mm movies transferred to VHS tape. Sounds like something from "All In THe Family" :-)
Wow, soo much has changed!! I use to live in Denville, my parents still do, but god it is all different now with a modern station, NJT commuter trains and only 1 track on the Boonton Line.
I live in parsippany but the boonton line & morris & essex line junction is right down the street. Check out my video of the NYS&W 142 on the same line.
I grew up on Lafayette Place. This brings back memories. The good old Grand Union grocery store and the Indian Lake and Morris Knolls and stuff Hmmmm.
I also grew up on Lafayette Place, on top of the hill. Playing ball at Gardner Field, swimming in the lakes and hiking out back to some of the old mines off of Ford road. Great Place.
this video could be recreated in about two decades if NJT finishes restoring the Lackawanna Cutoff and NKP 759 is restored XD

I have film (not mine it was almost 20 years before my birth) on a VHS tape of this engine pulling a freight in Stroudsburg, PA about 1973.

I lived at the corner of Franklin Rd and Laurel Trail.
My friends and I saw this from up on Snake Hill. It could have been the same day since steam loco's didn't come through often.
