  • its WAY too low, that thing wont work well offroad, it buggy is high and wide, this is wide and low, it probably works well on asphalt, but on slippery mud it wont work at all!

  • That is so cool :O!

    great job c:

  • nice work!

how did you learn it to make the buggy?

    greets.

  • how much did the total build approximately cost?

  • how long did it take to build

  • where you buy rack(case)

  • 50cc?:D

  • is everyone who commented on this vid stunned, yes we know that the susspension is low but if you look in the description you will see that he was running on low nitrogen pressure

  • @raretv7 Some people are just thick and thnk they kknow everything without reading the description.

  • nice choice of song!

  • place the frame higher. then you can drive off road

  • Suspention is way wrong. Your ass would be way sore if there was a 3" bump infront of youTry looking up a phamtom pro atv!

  • How much did it cost you to build it without the price of the motor?

  • where did you get the plans of it? i cant find some here in germany :( please pm me

    nice work btw xD

  • what you got in this thang?

  • you need to give that thing some clearance under the chasie. your ganna hit a bump and be soooory if you dont, but otherwise nice biuld dude! :[)

  • It's a beast don't listen to them

  • Front frame looks fucked up

  • suspension sucks

  • rides to low, imagine hitting a rock or small stump, your whole front end is fucked

  • Nice build, well done!

  • ive been looking into this for a couple of months now, and i gotta say..this is the most awsome build ive seen so far..

you think you could give me a couple of pointers

how much you put into this? 15 hundred without engine ..at least right?

  • that frame is some piece of fabrication man

  • why does it go so slow? my friends youger borther whos 10 races go karts at 90 mph.

  • @indycardino Your friends younger brother? WTF do you do? Sit around and play video games? Oh wait, no, you watch youtube videos all day....

  • @plkracer wow ur nice retard that thinks they're cool because they bought a "build set" from walmart that broke down so u had to cut off the video.

  • @indycardino English please?

  • @indycardino Nope, I got it now... you pretend to go fast with your legos right?

  • @plkracer they probalye go faster then this peice of crap.

  • @plkracer dude that thing is sick ....its gotta be a fucking blast to beat on

  • @achilles6282 Yeah it is. It will do 100 easily. It beats most cars from 0-60 with a time around 5-6 seconds. Just because I didn't drive it fast the first day I finished it doesn't mean it isn't fast.

  • @plkracer i know for sure its crazy fast ...i have owned a few gsxrs and i am sure the only reason it takes 5 seconds to get to 60 is cuz its peeling the skin off the tires trying to find someway to get traction ...if you ever want someone to ring the nuts off that thing look no further bro .....i'd love to play wit that

  • @indycardino dude that car has a gsxr engine ...depending on the year its between 140 and 200 hp . that dirt buggy will destroy any shifter kart on earth

  • thats really cool, im 15 and me and my dad are making a barracuda aswell, but we are making it to cams specs (certificate of australian motor sport) so we can race in finke n shit, anyway we started off with the swingarms first he amde that n i made the two front hubs n discs n shii, anyway wel done (Y)

  • how much did you spend?

  • great job but your front end is way to low.. bigger shocks or relocate shock brackets... you should be able to jump 3 ft and have suspension travel..

    good job otherwise :)

  • This is Buggy, no low rider, fix it!

Greetings from polish buggy fans ;)

  • @vivacalaca this is specialist, no a poor person who cant read a description

  • bamf

  • why so low? to soft suspension or to short? maybe wrong calculate plans? i'm not being sarcastic, just wonduring.

  • @1978rockon The shocks don't have enough nitrogen pressure.

  • @plkracer what did you have to by from edge products

  • Hi, this is good work!! Congratulation!!

    I so build Barracuda - with FZR 1000 - 145HP.

Have you dxf file with parts for laser cutter?

    Thanks for answer

  • I do, but most of the parts are custom sized for my application.

  • Hi, i need file with parts from page plan 131. Is possible send to me?

  • did you porposly make it low or was that just the test stance. i am in the works to get the plans for this how much would you say it cost you to get to that point and any little hints to make mine go smoother

  • why so low????

  • i envy you you are verry skilled. good job

plese can you make a vido of how to start making one and list the things that you will need and the avarige price plese .

ps what is the top speed on one of those

  • the secound driver is bad but befor everything is great....

  • congratulations!!

  • great!!!

  • very nice job!

  • i think u need better suspension to raise it abit bout other than that it's excellent im making the trax II from edge

  • read the desciption!

  • @seceretagent008

pretty sure you need to learn to read the description

  • does it have reverse?

  • would have liked to hear the motor rather than that horrible song.!

  • Thats why there is another video without music.

  • hey! it's a great song

but i agree that it would be better to hear the motor

  • to low needs bether suspencion

  • Better Suspension

  • if i had one i would i would tune up the engine like hell and spanking jap cars at the strip haha:P

  • good job!!!

  • nice, but a little low for my taste:P watch my buggy;)

  • well done

  • can you put any engine that or is it all set for that size motor

  • Pretty much any motor, But you would want a fairly big motor, not even a briggs. You want 40+HP

  • sweet, i was thinking on the line's of a 1300 out of a toyota carolla

not to big not to small

  • Well that I think might be a little big. I know it's designed for a motorcycle motor, but Ive heard of people modifying other buggies like this to accept anything from 3 cylinder smart motors all the way to chevy 350's

  • Too low to the ground.

  • zły dobór sprezyn i siedzi dosłownie nie nadaje sie do terenu

  • nice job but its too low to the ground

  • troche niski.

    Ale i tak jest fajny

  • Hi , nice work , you gotta get more air in those shocks or mod the suspension again to get that frame off the ground ,, lol ,, theres alot of negative camber in the front and back wheels , how many times has the frame bottomed out ??

  • thats true the frame is way to close to the ground

  • i love these vids man

Im about to build my own kart

    thanks for these!

  • i dont like the camber angle on the front wheels :/

the designs awesome though, great job (Y)

  • Thanks for the comment. The camber angle is because the shocks are pretty much fully compressed.

  • how fast is it

  • fuckin fast i bet

  • Nice job !

  • i just order my plans and get them yesterday. any tip on building this thing........???

  • Take your time, and make sure you have everything you need to make it before you get too deep. That is the biggest problem I had. I didn't build it exactly to plans so the parts I got were not exactly as expected, so things had to be changed.

  • how long to build

  • I started around christmas of 06, so a little under 2 years. I go to college though, and work full time during breaks, so I didn't work on it very often.

    BTW, thanks for subscribing.

  • what song it is please?

  • Whiskey in the Jar by Metallica. I'll add it to the description.

  • how much did it cost to build

  • About 5500 for parts and materials. The time spent on the project would easily double the cost though.

  • Wats up with that weird front end. I mean y do the front shocks and a-arms look like the wana touch the ground?

  • Maybe because they have too little nitrogen in them?

  • Gonna build one with my gsxr750, vw front end and solid quad axel in the rear

  • nice welding

  • Thanks. A lot of people are impressed at how smooth most of the beads are.

  • Say what? I couldn't understand anything but the last 6 words. Maybe if you went to school and learned English you might be able to get a decent job and earn enough money to make your own, then you can go out and show off.

  • me and my buddie are making the sma thing wit a suzuki lt230 rear end and front rigging, engine is lib older, 80 GSX750x, engine it jetted and has kerker header on it.

  • great buggy and great song ;)

  • need to beef up that suspension a bit, but awesome project tho

  • Yep, it's all been fixed and dialed in since the video was taken. I have a couple newer videos of the tuned suspension.

  • sweet buggy but r them front wheels meant to bend like they do at the front ?

  • Yes, it is called camber gain. As the front wheels compress, they lean in. This keeps the tire from rolling off the rim during a hard corner, since it only runs 10lbs and it also keeps the contact patch of the tire flat on the ground for the best traction when you turn. It is amazing to watch the tires flex when turning hard on pavement. The outside tire will literally move 2 inches in before the car starts to slide.

Since the shocks are deflated, the camber is exaggerated.

  • lol its a low rider. how strong are those suspension arms? seems like they'd be better off if they were boxed and gusseted, although i can't see them very well. good work i wish i had the time/skills/money for a toy like this

  • They are overbuilt. All of the arms are made with .120 thick DOM steel tubing. The rear arms and upper fronts are 1.25 od, and the front lowers are 1 inch od. The fronts are dog legged, or gull winged as some call it, so the whole thing is in tension, and would take an enormous hit to deform. The rear arms are triangulated to prevent them from collapsing or twisting.

  • A boxed and gusseted arm is probably a better choice for brute stength, but the cost would be outrageous, especially for a one-off unit.

  • true, although if you are building it yourself then you would just be using up time/materials. you could build one for me ;)

  • that is nice. good work and excellent video!

  • what the name of this song ?

  • whiskey in the jar by Metallica

  • thanks

    sorry my bad english

  • wiskey in the jar by mettalica

  • Fucken crazy sick dude!

    Im extremely jealous!

  • how much did it cost to build?

and are you a skilled welder/fabricator?

could you send me the plans ?

  • cool project, music is to loud and i cant even hear the engine...

  • There's another video without the music, if you prefer just engine sounds. :)

  • maybe to soft suspension

  • Yeah, it was too low on nitrogen. I have a refill kit now and the shocks are much better when pumped up.

  • That's awesome.

  • Thank you!

  • nice work!

  • Thanks, hopefully I can upload my dune video next week. More test driving has been done to further refine the car.

  • y is it sitting so low????

  • "The shocks need more nitrogen, which will be fixed before the next video."

I took a lot out to get them on without having to lift the buggy since my jacks wouldn't go high enough. I'm getting a nitrogen charge kit to fill them up soon.
