I have to agree with the reviewer. I am a huge lost in blue fan, but this game's difficulty was really difficult! I tried to suck it in and play the games, but when I learned there was a 100 day time limit, I right then sold the game. It was a poor excuse of an lost in blue game.
Personally, I liked the DS games better (more specifically Lost in Blue 2 and 3). However, this game wasn't too horrible. I did like the difference it brought with using the Wii Remote and nunchuck. I think my biggest problem with Shipwrecked is that there is a time limit to complete the game to get a good ending. It was very hard to achieve that.
Does anybody know where I can find a large supply of vines? I still haven't found any. Also, does anybody know if its possible to get more water bottles than just one? Its annoying to have to give up my water bottle to Lucy so I can't take it on scouting trips.

I think its great that it's actually pretty challenging in an era where nearly all the good games are getting dumbed down sequels just so people who don't know how to read instructions or change difficulty levels can "enjoy" them.. but what about people who know all that shit? LIB is a game that actually takes a lot of experimenting with before you master it, and when you do, it's extremely rewarding. I hope that we get more games in the series, maybe one on 3DS.

This rating was appropriate. i really like this game series but it is as frustrating as ever. like the man said, survival takes priority over exploration. Your stats detract very quickly so your constantly scavanging for food and water. You can't run in this series lest you really WANT to detract your stats more quickly and worthless partner can't do jack shit by themselves. They can't feed themselves when they are hungry, they can't drink when they're thursty. Useless jackoffs.

this is better than having a ridiculously easy game. the challenge is what makes games fun plus, being lost on an island is not easy. Still, it's a annoying to have a legally blind friend. And in lost in blue 1, Skye cannot cook. Everything she makes is +1 hunger
Yea I had played both lost in blue 1 and 2 for ds, and ended up getting a little annoyying to use the touch screen (mostly cuz I lost my stylis) So I just bought it online for wii hoping it will be better. I already knew the graphics and stuff were bad, and sorta guessed that the girl would be still be retarded as ever. Though I`m still gonna give it a chance cuz I like being able to actually use the wii remote for stuff likeing sawing wood. ;)
i've played all of them on the ds, since exploring the island is more interesting than keeping your characters healthy, i suggest using action replays, which makes cooking unnecessary, but you can still make food just for fun. in addition, by using cheats, you can explore the island by yourself, since your partner's health status will never go down.

I for one, love it. I never have problems keeping then fed, hydrated and rested. The lunch packs help ALOT when you want to explore. Although, I'm a bit behind in the story and my time is creeping up. Here's a tip: Use Adian to carry water bottles and materials, and you Lucy as a pack mule for all the food. Try making combos with the food you get too! ex: blue and red fruit. Bamboo shoots and carrots. Things like that!

That being said, Lost in Blue is a great saga, I don't know why the reviewer whines so much about the difficulty of the game. It provides players with SENSE OF ACHIEVEMENT, something very important in videogames. No easy game is rewarding.
i liked the first game the best, it just got very tedious in later games. this game shows that. the series can be amazing if it can find a balance between exploration and reasonable stat maintenance

Personally, I liked the DS games better (more specifically Lost in Blue 2 and 3). However, this game wasn't too horrible. I did like the difference it brought with using the Wii Remote and nunchuck. Once I made it to the forest my luck seemed to change. After that, taking care of Lucy and Aiden wasn't so bad...
The game is just like being on an island. Ya gotta stick it out and put up with it.
