@Neheleot Its on the supernatural original television soundtrack on the song called americana. There is a piano interlude that plays the theme. I downloaded it from amazon for 99 cents. The whole album is worth a listen too.

i know that scene always sends a chill down my spine and a pit in my stomach! that was just a tear your heart out kind of scene. when i find saw this on tv i was crying hysterically and my boyfriend came in and thought that someone close to me died and i said that yes sam died and he just rolled his eyes.

i know! when he yells sam and cradles him in his arms it justs rips your heart out. i remember when i first saw this on tv i was crying hysterically and my boyfriend came rushing in and asked if someone close to me died and i said yes, sam died and he just rolled his eyes and went back to the other room. he is totally jealous of supernatural (cause it stole my heart lol) i was hooked from the first 5 min. of the pilot.

Aww I love these melodies that is played during these type of scenes. There's also a melody I've heard at least in two episodes. First time I heard it was at the very end of Bloodlust when Dean speaks with Sam over the hood. That melody is sooo pretty! It's played again at the start of Croatoan. Anyone knows which I mean? Or what its called?

OMG I know what you mean!!! John says all that stuff about "you didn't complain...not once" and "I am so proud of you".

and then where my heart really breaks is that moment where Dean has to ask "is this really you talking?"

like he's finally hearing the words he's probably wanted to hear his whole life, but he probably never expected it to really happen. so he can't believe it's true.

Oh my GOSH, I couldn't be more excited that people are giving this beautiful theme recognition!! I have been in love with it since I first heard it in Devil's Trap, but I am so glad to finally learn that other people in the fandom care about it as much as I do! Ironically, I was just piecing it out on my piano the other day, thinking that it would be easier if I grouped the clips together sometime, but then I found this!
