I actually liked that black and white collection, and I liked Brandon's outfit. Actually I liked them most of them, but my LEAST favorites were the short purple dress, the plum dress the ruffly skirt, and the short red dress. They were very 80s and looked cheap. I loved the black and red "granny dress". It was classy and had a lovely black lining. I have no idea why they gave him such a hard time over it.
And I was really hoping that Danio would be given a chance to return for the next season when he would have been feeling better as he really showed potential during that first episode. Really Sad!
I'm so sorry about Danio Frangella's passing. I liked him at the beginning and really hoped he was coming back. He was brave to make an attempt to compete. May God grant him peace!

You cannot trust doctors, you have to question everything they tell you and get 2nd third fourth and 100th opinions.

If Brandon didn't know YSL, he didn't know he needed to lie. I am sure even if he didn't mention it at the panel, the judges would know because they probably got filled in or even review the tapes before the runway show. But I am really surprised that someone in the fashion business hasn't heard of YSL.
The judges don't know or see anything of what goes into the designs. All they see or know is what comes out on the runway. If he had lied, they wouldn't have known until the show aired.
It's a part of them being impartial judges. If they saw what went into making the garment, they might be involuntarily biased or feel sorry for a particular designer.
This year's Project Runway Canada didn't have last year's execution of style. Canada has some serious competition with the United States, Australia and the Philippines.
Brandon please don't come to New York, your fashion choices couldn't stand up to the critics and they would eat you for lunch. You can't play with the big dawgs.
What has changed about the 'execution style'? Is this in reference to the design execution of individual designers or of the entire show, or both? If so, in what way?
I think Iman is a great host. She has opinion and is not afraid to express it. I think she makes a better host than Heidi.
You should check out his website. He is actually pretty good, just.. not here. The time restraints seem to be a big issue with a lot of them, except a master like Sunny.
Then how do you explain all the contestants on Project Catwalk or Project Runway being able to create nice and even professional looking outfits in the same time constraints? Face it, your boy just sucks.

The judges don't know or see anything of what goes into the designs. All they see or know is what comes out on the runway. If he had lied, they wouldn't have known until the show aired.
It's a part of them being impartial judges. If they saw what went into making the garment, they might be involuntarily biased or feel sorry for a particular designer.

This year's Project Runway Canada didn't have last year's execution of style. Canada has some serious competition with the United States, Australia and the Philippines.
Brandon please don't come to New York, your fashion choices couldn't stand up to the critics and they would eat you for lunch. You can't play with the big dawgs.

What has changed about the 'execution style'? Is this in reference to the design execution of individual designers or of the entire show, or both? If so, in what way?
I think Iman is a great host. She has opinion and is not afraid to express it. I think she makes a better host than Heidi.

Last year's Project Runway Canada had an execution of style per designer. We have seen great aptitude and skill generated as each show progressed.
You can't see the designers being pushed or challenged to see something fresh or refreshing.
The show doesn't spend enough time showing the thought process per designer. Someone sterilised this for the viewers.
The designer truly competes with their own self as much as they compete against others.

You should check out his website. He is actually pretty good, just.. not here. The time restraints seem to be a big issue with a lot of them, except a master like Sunny.

It's so sad to hear Danio passed away from cancer. My thoughts are with his family at this time. He really seemed like he had so much talent and passion and a good heart! R.I.P.

I feel sorry for Brandon. Was he a self taught designer maybe? Because I'm sure that if he went to design school he definitely would have heard of YSL.
I hated Jason's. What the heck was that stuff hanging off his dress? I'm going to go watch it again to figure that one out...

brandon got penalized because it didn't have a YSL reference and wasn't couture, but the style itself had great direction. i want to wear it myself... i absolutely loved it.
jeff and jason deserved to go much more than brandon did. jeff's style is too mute and obsolete, while jason has poor lines and composition.
