  • Just for the rec, DC has HOV, MD has HOV, NY has HOV, and CA has HOV (just off the top of my head from what I remember).

Lots of these other places the HOV lane only moves as quick as the left, looks like it moves a decent big quicker by you!

Yup, can't remove hazards, just do what you can to ride safe!

  • For a biker like me every Lane is a HOV lane :D even the split lane :D lol ...

  • I always wondered about motorcycles in the HOV lanes. Only the 17 has signs that say theyre allowed. And yes, phoenix traffic SUCKS! Its absolutely atrocious. I dont even bother going anywhere in rush hour anymore. HOV lane = win, $400 HOV ticket = fail!

  • Your thought process is a lot like mine. Watching (and listening) to you ride is like going for a ride myself. I would be having a lot of the same thoughts and I look suspiciously at the traffic around me just as you do. Thanks for the trip! Sure do miss Phoenix.

  • Sitting in traffic like a sucka.

  • az riders should have killed jan brewer's dog for turning down lane-splitting bill, lol)

  • Nice video Zmagic! Check out my videos if you've got a bit of spare time only just started out Vlogging :)

  • And Phoenix isn't boring? LOL I lived in the Glendale suburb. Going downtown to Phoenix was supposed to be a big time, but there isn't anything more to do in Phoenix than there was in Glendale.

  • lol, roasted ladyparts! thanks for including us? :) I'd so have to give in to the temptation and lane split or just avoid the freeway if it's possible.

  • God I couldn't imagine living in a place where lane splitting wasn't legal....Pretty sure I'd do it anyway, I'd be scared shitless sitting still on the freeway during rush hour.

  • Just drive like all cagers are out there to get you , thats about all you can do... the rest is just a bit of luck and skill i guess

  • In Sweden, Stockholm....during rush hour I always pass all the cars and in that way get to work very fast, much faster than driving my car. but right now, we have so much snow here, not possible to drive motorcycle.

    Regards

    Per

  • "So I'm not goin' to go all gun ho with that...." LOL

When the HOV lane is moving good and the adjacent lane is not.....it makes me nervous as fvck! I keep thinking some dude is going to get all pissed of at traffic and swerve in without lookin'.

"You can never eliminate every hazard on the road" which is way there is always a hint of fear lurking around in my brain whenever I ride. (Until I blip clutch...then I'm not thinking anything, in a sense, lol)

Nice vid bro! Hella good points!

  • What I like about your bike is it's not a gsxrs lol

  • That looks like I10 at rush hour. Nice vid!

  • the only time i believe in lane splitting

  • the first time i used my motorcycle i was hit by a lady who was texting and talking on another phone. there was a cop behind be preparing to pull me over for a noise violation. she did try to get away but when there is 139 miles between exits there is no getting away. she had a warrant for her arrest already for another hit and run , my bike is in bad shape but that wont stop me from riding again.

  • @FurryFootBall good spirits bro! I like it! Sad to read that story though. In all honesty.....the best of luck to ya.

  • I can't tell if original or 1080p is better haha

  • God, phx traffic sucks, rode out there on Friday, no-lane splitting sucks......

  • OH, C´mon! Get Your aspect ratio sorted - whats with the pancake cars????

  • @Snowhite808 LMAO!!!

  • i think its rediculous to see how many people are on the road and there is just 1 person in the car. I hate it when i see it.

  • @warezvz I 100% agree!!!!! Or the dude with big ass lifted trucks. So much gas, rubber, and space just to haul 1 person around. Dicks... Don't get me wrong, I love a good lifted truck just as much as the next guy, but when they never do ANY off roading in it!? Yeah...douchebags. Pavement pounding fvcking land yacht..... (My .02)

  • @rynoride its the same thing with SUVs in the city. never ever got it on dirt but drives one. How the fuck arent you crying when you get 10mpgs out of that shitcan and always they ride alone

  • "Dont sideswipe me...i'll kill you.... "

  • Technical term is HOV in Cal but we just call it carpool lane. In ny its gov lane aswell

  • I live in a rural part of Utah, the last time I was behind or in front of somebody was roughly 6 months ago on the 4th of july. Once you're off main street there's no traffic though. That said I'm from LA and know how it feels....

  • you can lane split in Chicago, just don't let cops catch you : )

  • We have that in California but we call it the Carpool Lane. But maybe the HOV lane is the technical name, I dunno.

  • Hey, we're not big as Phoenix, but go easy on Tucson!:) Okay, now I know your thinking, "who the heck is this guy!" I really like to watch your videos and want start Vlogging after I get a fair amount of experience riding. I'm going to be getting a Ninja 250r within a year (once I have enough saved up, and after the MSF course) and take a lot away from the tips that you share. Anyways, thanks for vlogging and all the help!

  • If I couldn't lane split, I couldn't ride on the freeway without totally losing it.

  • Can you take a photo of your bike at night to show off your reflective flames? It would be awesome to see if not too much trouble.

  • Hey that lane that 2 people have to be in or a motorcycle does a dead person count a person or a sex doll

  • Did you start this at the end of your last video

  • Traffic doesn't exist for motorcycles in cali
