  • (sigh) i reallllly want to jump on the "this song sucks!" bandwagon, since i usually agree with critical rockist opinions on popular music...

But damn, I love this song!! why is it considered one of the worst?? I just dont get it. :/

  • Weeks later and this song still is so amazing to play at parties. Thank you based HMX.

  • Me: THIS is tier 7? I don't get it!!!

    4:58

    Me: ...

    Well that was cheap...

  • Wow.

    7 seconds of difficulty

    7th tier song.

    I can dig it.

  • Dat prechorus.

  • wait is your bassist miles edgeworth

  • I heard this song spits in the face of real rock n roll because it was part of the "corporate rock" movement.

  • I can't fucking believe that used to be Jefferson Airplane.

  • Well at least they put on a good song this time.

  • in this song playing the guitar solo on a real guitar is much more easier than a plastic guitar.

  • The sad part is, this was the song I was looking forward to the most this week.

  • me: When will this get hard on guitar?

    4:58 HOLY CRAP WHAT?!

  • isn't this the song that was listed as worst song of the 1980s?

  • @gordofredito So says Blender magazine but I can think of 1000 other songs I would put above this one.

  • I still say you should have created the Muppets to do this song for this game.

  • One of my favorite songs period, kinda hate how its considered the worst, oh well. Man RB keeps getting the good ones!

  • @galooriatisnorai I dislike this song myself but who cares what I think. Don't let others dictate your taste in music or anything for that matter.

  • @essay87 Yeah..

  • Fucking faggots, quit whining about the tiers. Just because a few tiers were off this week doesn't mean your fucking life is over.

  • @bigbogify I agree, though without the harsh language. People make too big a deal about tiers.

  • @bigbogify Says the guy who is having an aneurysm over people having a simple opinion on tiering. #seriousbusiness

  • This sounds different than the single I have. The solo at the end isn't there either

  • I heard this song was cheesy, but its not that bad

  • Love the song - disappointed they didn't chart the radio broadcast to vocals though. (They did in the Meat Loaf song.)

  • This song for me is a remix between "Money For Nothing" and "Owner Of A Lonely Heart"

But I loved it the first I heard it

  • so... do you like starship?

  • My single least favorite thing about this guitar chart is the fact that they don't provide any OD in the solo. The last OD phrase they provide is at 3:58, meaning that if you want to hold OD for the solo, you must hold OD for the entire last minute of the song before the hard part comes. And this will cause a lot of people to fail their sightread because they won't have OD for the solo, since they'll probably activate during the chorus.

  • "Marconi plays the mamba?" A mamba is a kind of snake, Starship. Snakes don't enjoy being played.

  • HAHA! I didn't know it was a real song, just hearded it when we watched ''We Built This City'' in the class, and thougt it was a jingle :D

  • That was a crazy solo. But still that doesn't warrant having a devil tier for guitar.

  • Even with that solo at the end it still shouldn't be a devil tiered. 5 Maybe, 4 at the least.

  • Ah, this song...one of my biggest guilty pleasures.

  • man i hate this song.

  • @KimRobinRisvi man i hate you.

  • Should've saved it for a second Lego Rock Band.

  • I hate charts like this, where the song is only tiered 7 because of 5 - 10 seconds of difficultness, then the rest of the song is extremely easy.

  • @GoldenJokered Then don't buy the song. I'll have fun playing the song cause I like it. Not because of the tiering.

  • @IDIOTAmerica4 I not talking about the actual song, it's just annoying when songs are tiered like this.

  • @GoldenJokered The reason Guitar is tier 7 is because the end part of that solo would trip up a lot of people, causing them to fail. That, and tiers are based on how difficult to FC the song is on the given instrument, not how long the difficult section is. Constant Motion by Dream Theater, for example. It's a tier 7 on Guitar (I think. might have been changed), yet the song isn't difficult to FC until the end of the solo, hence it being in tier 7.

  • @tAMStudiosOfficial I know why is is tier 7, I'm just saying it is annoying when songs like this come out because of their polarising difficulty. All the difficulty is in one part of the song.

  • @GoldenJokered Why do I get the feeling you didn't read my entire comment? It's tier 7 because it is very difficult for the average player to FC.

  • @tAMStudiosOfficial nooope. Constant Motion's tier 6.

  • @iwatchvidswiththis Well I think it used to be 7. A lot of the tiering was changed when RB3 came out.

  • dat ending

  • lolguitar

  • At first I thought: "How is this devil tier for guitar?" And then I saw the ending I like: "....ohhhh."

  • 100% shameless matured cheeze.
