  • Great tutorial, I think I can do this you explained it very well.

  • great tutorial thanks

  • great vid.....thank you

  • Wonderful. Looks fun! (check your spelling, though: preparation, kernel, lavender). Thanks, it looks like the rest of us can actually do it too.

  • Great job thanks for adding.

  • Thanks dude. I tried to get a book on it, but the whole time I was reading it I was thinking, "Wtf DOES THIS MEAN."

I learn better from people who are actually doing it and talking about it.

    :)

  • Thanks :)

  • I would like to see more videos. I would also like to know your recipe for almond milk. I make my own as it is, but would like to know your recipe for soap. Thank you for sharing. Kim

  • LYE INTO WATER NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND

  • @Zygotepro pay a little more attention

  • One of your new customers here, with a fast comment. First, I'm not surprised to see so many LIKES, and not a single dislike. Also, one suggestion. Make some soap earlier so you can pull it out after the tutorial is done. Seeing the finished product is extremely encouraging since it gives us something to look forward to.

  • I hope you post more videos soon.

  • great how to vid,

  • Hey a very good video! I never saw a soapmaking boy before!

  • i thought u were suppose to add the lye to the water, not the water to the lye....??????

  • @Erykah1971 ,

At first I thought he was pouring the water into the bucket of lye as well but he has a new bucket where he is just measuring the water. He proceeds to reach for the lye and add it to this second container. Watch it again to see.

  • @Erykah1971 pay a little more attention

  • @Erykah1971 At 2 min 6 seconds, he says to pour the lye into the water, and then he does just that.

  • @Erykah1971 Hi! i think he was just mesuring the water not mixing it, but yes its add the lye to the water.

  • That was a great video! You make it seem like a Piece of Cake would like to see more please.

  • What's is better to make soaps bars? Silicone trays or plastic? Thanks!

  • Absolutely love your tutorial! Very well done! Informative, but you didn't make it sound too complicated. I have been making soap for a long time (since I was a kid w/ my grandma) and I have never used silk in my soaps. Now I want to try it! lol

  • Thanks for the help everyone! Actually found the wonderful scent of marsiglia myelf! I use homemade fabric softener made with half a cup vinegar,a squirt of lemon and...EO of citronella, lemon and a touch of geranium. Just a few drops goes a long way. My laundry smells like a summer laundry day in Umbria!

  • Does anyone have the recipe for marsiglia soap? that would include laundry and household detergents. I lived in italy for 3 years and I,m hooked on the wonderfully clean smell. Perhaps it,s just a combination of essential oils? Hope it,s not an artificially produced scent! Anyways, if someone could help I heartily thank you.

  • I could not find part two...

  • So far 100 percent for the course.. excellent video, I will pass it along. Please make more videos, even for variety of recipes. Also, just in case there are different variations... I have understood that 'curing' the soap for a few weeks is recommended, on account of the lye. Anyway, thank you and again...

  • ver se chega.p

  • You should make more videos because you explain all the process very well.Very nice.

  • where the hell is part 2?

  • 1st rule of Fight Club is YOU do not talk about Fight Club...2nd rule of Fight Club is....YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB

  • @rmassie11 lol

  • @rmassie11 You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

  • @cjfbio2 LOL, I WANT YOU 2 HIT ME...AS HARD AS YOU CAN

  • Show us how to make a good shaving soap

  • @c9ari lots of coconut oil or castor oil... both create nice lathers

  • Great video!=0)

  • yeaaaaaaa

  • Great instructional! Thanks for sharing!

  • awesome.. but where is part 2??

  • awesome tutorial just one comment, you should make it clear that when mixing water and lye solution ALWAYS add the lye to the water, never the water to the Lye. Adding the water to the lye can cause a volcano and someone could get hurt.

    Excellent Tutorial though great job!

  • I do hope you put up some more videos.

  • Thank you, i found this really useful. plain simple, and informative!! again thank you
