That's silly if you think Zonereva would have let Caroline win after going that far in the tournament. Zonereva was not going easy on her. Zonereva shots post Caroline's cramp outburst looked very ordinary and never real posted any threat. The errors she made as well seemed deliberate. The way I see it, she let Caroline win cause she couldn't bear to see her in pain anymore despite the fact that she could've still won. If thats the case then I commend Zonereva for her spirit of kindness. ^_^ (Just thought i'd point out something else, since everyone at this point is Caro bashing.)

That's silly if you think Zonereva would have let Caroline win after going that far in the tournament. Zonereva was not going easy on her. If anything she got tired at the end like so many players that get worn out by Caroline. Caroline is usually in very good shape and usually tennis players in general don't hit as well towards the end of the game.
Zonereva is a very tough competitor and always plays to win. Zonereva is ranked # 2 in the world for good reason

I think she made fun of Nadal because she went through it. Sounds pretty silly but almost as if they would both have an "inside joke" about it. She laughs at herself now when it happened then and one day he'll look back and laugh at himself (but from the post interview after his cramps, looks like he's already's gotten over it) and found it funny and embarrassing. Was it appropriate? No. She just had some really bad timing.
