the camera only adjests to the brightest object. the reflection from earth. the camera works like our eyes. it opens and closes a hole to let more or less light in. try it.. when its night go outside and u will see stars. then go inside and turn the light on and stay inside for a few minutes. then go outside and u wont be able to see the stars. the camera has the lense very narrow because it has adjested to the earth shine. it doesnt pick up the star shine. sry if its too complex but i hope help
