this was a marvelous episode. it is the first time Ive seen the lloyd and croft characters deal with scary things and the supernatural. well done, to say the least and I wish I had been stuck in bed with mavis on that dark scary night.
i thought are you being served was great it has nothing on grace & favour. may they all rest in peace. they will always be missed. there will never ever be another Mr. Humphries, Ms. Slocombe & Miss. Brahms. They are now in heaven putting on one hell of a show. REST N PEACE
I do not know what you mean. I have the DVD set and I zoomed in during the scene when they were in town and saw a word that looked like Malmsbury, then I was able to find the additional info on some Cottswolds websites. I did not look it up on Wiki. So piss off freak.

After many years of research I found out it was filmed in Malmesbury. The manor scenes were filmed in Chavenage Manor in Tetbury.
