I had an experience just like this a few weeks ago. I was happy, bright eyed and ready to help out with some volunteering and met this one woman who was also volunteering but had such a self-deprecating, moaning attitude that the only way she could relate to someone positive was by back-stabbing, gossiping and slagging me off whilst standing right in front of me. I felt sorry for her but there is no way I was going to "join" her in her misery.
Thanks soo much for uploading this, I have delt with this since I started with this work 3 or 4 years ago. I love this work, and this guy pretty much spoke the words of my deepest issue over the years in a way that I couldn't have worded any better of how I feel in interaction out in public. It's like the better I feel about myself and about things in general, the more I feel out on an island all by myself when in public, like people are repelled away from me. Thanks so much!!!
anyway i'm just trying to process all this info and i've come to the conclusion that since we r the creators of our own realities everyone has their own way to happiness/enlightenment/joy/getting into the vortex and we've all got our emotional guidance system/intuition/the force to help us in our path/quest/fill in the blank and to figure out which way is best. ok enough of all this and cut to the chase. let's be happy now
also my understanding with abraham's teachings is to be happy/feel joy for the sake of joy not for the goal or manifestation. those manifestations appear only because you lined up with who you really are and source/LOA responds. the whole teaching is really about to be happy/joyous NOW and not letting your happiness be contingent upon some future manifestation. b/c really we desire those things b/c we think we'd be happy w/ them.so decide to be happy and practice it & bam u got true happiness
@moonlite09 No desire is not a desire, it is a state. When someone cuts themselves, their body naturally returns to its vibrational state...as long as there are no infections. Just as the soul would without conditioned desire. If what I wrote is read carefully, it can be seen for its meaning. It really is a process of letting go of conditioned identity and in turn diminished desire will come of it. No one said not to appreciate the abundance of creation and the design. Regards!
@MorphingMindSet so no desire = state of true happiness. ok i get that but what I'm saying (actually got this clarified by abraham in another vid) is that ppl work to diminish desire b/c they want happiness. I don't think you are diminishing desire just to diminish desire. you are doing it because u know it will bring u true hapiness.thus you still have at least one desire-- to be happy. anyway i totally get the idea of letting go-it's how one releases resistance and raises their vibration
@moonlite09 I am learning as anyone else. You have a valid point technically speaking. The bigger picture is about the difference of self serving or serving all that is.....bestowal. This is what led me to my statements. Material happiness is temporary......spiritual happiness is infinite.
@MorphingMindSet - One must do both. One cannot understand "how" to "serve all" if one hasn't learnt to "self serve." This is one of the most difficult things for people to understand and it is tied up in the religious teachings that so many of us have fed to us from a young age. One cannot extend compassion and understanding to others if one cannot first know how to extend such things to one's self.
@FredericaBimble I fully and completely disagree. That is absurd. Why would your bargain, be to anyone else's benefit.....so to say. I have heard about these type of discrediting comments from user's with no channel(moonlite09 as well)....very strange that anyone who has responded to me has no channel. It is futile to think that you can discredit the truth.....anyone who is at this point will see....easily. STARSCREAM233 has made this case a while ago....and this proves his theory!!!
Law of Attraction works......but this mindset does not bring true happiness. We are trying to attract to be happy. There is none here.....only new ways to be happy, because this changes all the time. Diminished desire is true happiness. When one reaches a goal....how long are they happy for? Not long....the pursuit continues, unless we diminish desire.
@MorphingMindSet NOPE. Sorry. If what you want doesn't make you happy then it just wasn't what you wanted. I have gratitude for wonderful things I brought into my life, and I AM HAPPY about it.
@JhonathanFree Once you have attained your desires.....then what....the novelty usually wears off and then like I said the pursuit continues. Thoughts change, desires change....so the chase never ends....until one realizes....the real happiness is outside of desire. You say you have brought many things into your life...Why? ...because it hurt not to have them based on your identity. I have experienced what you claim...and this is my conclusion....Not to contradict yours. Much Regard to You!!
@MorphingMindSet i've heard abraham talk about the very thing you're saying. and basically they said that diminished desire is still a desire -- the desire to have no desires is a desire in and of itself. another way to put it, you still have a desire at the end of the day-- which is true happiness. if that's the way you've found true happiness, then more power to you. There isn't just one path to happiness and everyone has their own unique way.
I have learned....after all of this pondering and observing....I am that.....that which cannot be observed. I have found thoughts are passing clouds, I have no need to hold on to things I thought were important. True happiness belongs to no desire. Otherwise....there is always a new method in the pursuit
great, thanks !
