I'm a glider pilot from Poland. Pirat is the very sailplane i wan to fly . I've flown 12 times with it and I can say : "Nevereneding pleasure during flight"
Pirat-C version is more comfortable than normal Pirat ,but generally it's good glider .
i ve loged 250 hours in this type while 15 thru 17 years old in Poland 26 years ago. Great glider. Reliable, easy to fly. Its a antique by now. all the best.
Vasstomi, first time you do spin it, just make sure that you have LOTS of hight !! I trained on the Bocian and after that, I thought the Pirat was a great glider. Happy days - I can remember how heavy the centre section was to lift on ! Be safe and have fun. Cheers ! Martin
I had a 1/4 share in a pirat in the UK! Best gliding fun that I've ever had (did'nt enjoy spinning it though) - thanks for your video vasstomi - brought the good times right back !

Hi.. I am a glider pilot from South Africa and we also have a Pirat at our club.
Lovely ship for a cross country!
She is not so violant in a spin, but just make sure you are high and have enough wight in the nose.
Expect a rapid nose drop!
