Looking at my tan wall, I saw the little old man, in the 'regular colour scheme', with a turquoise dot on the top of his nose, and a green one on the left (his right) side of his nose, the third dot appeared faintly purpley to me.

But, in my vision he had turquoise fuzzy dot 'floating' and moving over top of the image. (and some grey-black & bluey-purple, static fuzziness at the points when I had my eyes closed)

Pretty awesome. :D

(Note, I am a sysnesthete, so sometimes my senses are weird)

That term is you're ticket to get some extra knowledge about red-blue (and other colour shifts) that happens when the eye get 'tired' due to staring. ;)
