Just a question of getting it to work on Vista now...

Doesn't seem to like DOS Box either unless. How have you been playing it?

Know of any way to get Dr Drago's Madcap Chase to work on a 64 bit system? I've got the original disc (found one in a bargain bin), but I can't even begin to run it's installer.

I'm told I need a winG utility, but I can't find that either.

I spent hours trying to run it under Win XP and got frustrated! dont't waste your time!

I have the original game and run it on and old gateway laptop under Windows 98! It was originally made for win 95 and even with Win 98 i still have to lower the screen resolution to get it to run...great game though!!

You are better off buying a cheap win 98 laptop, at least you know it will work. Mine cost £40 off ebay 4 years ago so you should be pick one up real cheap now.

BTW, New York is in the game too, it's a little hidden, you have to go to the field on the bottom of Iceland, the farhest to the left, and then walk down, takes a while

Aasiest trick ever to get filthy rich?

Buy an AmEx and a zero or debt card. Use it in an expensive city like London, Paris, Berlin, Antwerpen, preferrably at the end of the year. At the beginning of the next year you'll be deep in it financially and usually the game will force you to sell all your assets to clear the debts. So don't roll the dices, than cancel your debt using the "Zero" card or use "Debts" card and transfer the debts to another player.

I absolutely love this game. I just installed it on my computer just yesterday.

And I even already got eastern Europe opened. But it definitely didn't take 75 rounds. It took like 25 or so. Maybe it's radom?

The German version also starts from London. That's because that club of super rich people is in London ;D

I think is rather funny :p.. although it does get repetitive so usually I just click to skip before the announcer can say anything :D!

Btw does the rally in the German version start from London as well? Perhaps from Berlin instead?

That's something I would like to know as well. Maybe if you play like 50 or 100 rounds then eastern Europe will open? Never had the patience play for that long and find out :D.

You need to play over 75 rounds, it is well worth the effort as there is much more stuff to buy...and Moscow...I have the original CD rom with case & instructions purchases back in 1995!!
