  • The Newman SCAM has sucked in another one.

Did you send him your Dollar ?

  • If you know so much, why do you ask that question? And no you dumbass, I did not send him any dollar.

    Idiot.

  • Great progress. Just let it run 24/7 and see, how long it runs on your batteries and compare this to a normal resistor running on your battery pack. Do you get the battery recharging effect ? Have you tuned for the best spark to recharge your batteries ? Maybe try to use 10x 9 Volts NiMH in series and try to see, how long it runs your fan... Many thanks. Regards, Stefan.
  • No recharging effect here. Requiring recharging effect here puts an unnecessary constraint here. What is important for me is good contact for good power output and torque. Current is not so much important as the speed of its rise which determines how quickly the torque is produce upon closing of circuit (power on).

  • kmarinas86:

why waste time on this pointless, mindless, valueless piece of crap of a video?

  • The point: Having fun.

Mindless: So what do you think I am? Am I telling you what has to be the case?

Valueless: So what, it is not for sale.

Maybe its the same people like you I never listen to, because I do what I like even if other people don't. "That's pointless" is never a convincing argument.

    You're pointless.

  • i see how your work has progressed.

Why not try a pulse run pulse charge system, now that its all in ballence and the rotor looks good and heavy, you may be able to let the centrifical force do some work.

i will seeif i can send you a video

  • Centrifugal force is not a real force but an "apparent force". In fact, a rotating object follows the rules for non-inertial frame of reference, and it will experience the same type of effect of time dilation as a result of general relativity (GR assumes that gravity is a fictitious force!), not by much however! The energy density and pressure increases with the square of the velocity of the system running, while flow increases proportionally.

  • LOL! This stupid fuck has no idea what current is. Good fucking grief. Hey, pal, sign up for Scientology while you're at it, fucktard idiot.

  • The current is the flow of charge through a wire. In alternating current systems, the current changes back and forth as a function of time. With AC systems, phasors are used calculate a single current value for an ideal AC waveform. Ideal AC current and voltage varies sinusoidally, so phasors are used to do that.

  • Disturbances due to induction, resistance, and capacitance will distort AC from it's ideal form. Induction, resistance, and capacitance are useful in several ways.

Induction is useful for motors, but can also be used to steal electricity from the power line without connecting a conductor directly to it.

Resistance is useful for generating heat in incandescent light bulbs, electric toasters, and Easy-Bake ovens.

Capacitance is useful for computation, stun guns, welding, and forms of rare art.

  • Scientology is a fraud. It is only for people who feel they need to identify themselves with "celebrity cults" and is not for those seeking the truth by honest examination.

  • "LOL! This stupid fuck has no idea what current is. Good fucking grief. Hey, pal, sign up for Scientology while you're at it, fucktard idiot."

Everyone who understands what you just said, NotSoOldHippy, and then understands what I said in three previous posts, should reject your statement. Then they will have to wonder about what I said. Some of them will understand what it means, literally, to an intelligent person.

  • Unfortunately the "Newman motor" wastes energy, and that is a problem because the world is facing a crisis regarding energy sources. As someone else pointed out, there are motors by GE and others that are superior.

  • "As someone else pointed out"

Why say "someone else pointed out"? If you were really an expert on motors by GE and others, find someone who is an engineer of such company.

"Unfortunately the 'Newman motor' wastes energy, and that is a problem"

All systems waste energy, they produce something called heat! The better way to say it is "the 'Newman motor' wastes too MUCH energy!"

  • Yet, heat is actually useful. It can provide warmth to a home. The sun provides the heat to the desert because the radiation of the sun hits particles in the atmosphere, increasing their electrical potential energy, which is converted into energy. The ability to conduct heat increases with resistance. Heat is applied in a circuit with the application of voltage, which is a result of changing the electrical field (volts-meter) in a wire.

  • Everyone who understands electrical circuits must have heard of the equation for heat in a motor. Those who have taken physics know that heat in thermodynamics, is quantified as energy. Yet, the heat in a motor is generated by the dissipation of energy of wire, which is calculated by integrating the physics formula for "real power" with respect to time. The formula for "real power" is:

    real power=current^2*resistance

  • Understanding inductance is something very few lay people can master. Yet inductance can be understood through two very basic physical observations of electricity:

    1) A changing magnetic field delivers an electrical potential (voltage) to charges in a path of resistance.

    2) Electrical potential (voltage) can be lost by a circuit by its relative motion and consequential induction to something capable of receiving its electrical potential (voltage).

  • Electrical potential is a very basic concept. It simply known as the electrical potential energy that a charge holds.

Voltage can be stored, as in a device holding charge at a particular charge density.

Voltage can be transferred at a certain rate, as in a device that conducts electricity down a wire.

Voltage can be also be transferred at rates which change varyingly, as seen in AC induction motors.

  • When current in an electromagnet changes, it produces a changing magnetic field. The potential energy of this field is often mislabeled and misunderstood as "magnetic energy". A changing current in an inductor having some resistance always come with a "price". This price is simply the electrical potential per charge that is lost by the charge and then delivered to the surrounding magnetic field. The magnetic field then delivers that electrical potential energy to another charge by induction.

  • Magnetic fields do not possess energy in of themselves. The depiction of magnetic fields, as in graphs showing where magnetic field "lines" exist, only serve to map the lines of force which can be intercepted, if and only if, there is a presence of charge. As soon as a charge receives electrical potential energy through this magnetic field, it changes its electrical potential energy with respect to the surrounding electrical field.

  • Understand three very basic types of voltage.

Capacitance*Charge: The electrical potential energy stored per charge

Resistance*Current: The flow of electrical potential energy per charge

Inductance*(change "of current"/change "in time"): The time-rate at which flows of electrical potential energy per charge change their direction down to a path of certain resistance and inductance.

  • This understanding can be expanded at level of mathematical calculus.

Capacitance*Charge: The first integral of the first derivative of electrical potential with respect to time

Resistance*Current: The second integral of the second derivative of electrical potential with respect to time

Inductance*(change "of current"/change "in time"): The third integral of the third derivative of electrical potential with respect to time

  • This further understanding can be expanded at the level of classical physics.

Capacitance*Charge: The first integral of the electrical power per charge with respect to time.

Resistance*Current: The second integral of the first derivative of electrical power per charge with respect to time.

Inductance*(change "of current"/change "in time"): The third integral of the second derivative of electrical power per charge with respect to time.

  • The types of energy in each system can be understood.

    [Capacitance*Charge]*Charge: Static electrical potential energy

[Resistance*Current]*Charge: Electrical potential energy moving at a constant rate

[Inductance*(change "of current"/change "in time")]*Charge: Electrical potential that is lost by charges, only to be later received by charges like themselves.

  • General Electric makes hundreds of motors that are much more efficient, and they cost less.

  • "General Electric makes hundreds of motors that are much more efficient, and they cost less."

And so now it seems that someone who rationally concludes that "Religion Kills People" will also use General Electric as a standard of comparison for the motors that I am building. Rather than being offensive, this conclusion is actually flattering.

  • great vid!

  • how many turns is the coil, ohms ect..

  • 100-foot ribbon cable with 40 conductors connected in series to make 4000 feet of 28AWG. Ribbon cable is designed for computers and is very high quality. About 250 ohms in the coil which contains copper coated with silver and strongly insulated.

    2 layers per conductor*40 conductors per ribbon*1 ribbon*16 turns per layer = 1280 turns

  • very impressive !

pay atetion that your corrent measurements cold be not correct because you have low rpm !!! to do this measures use a anolog ampermeter that will show you the avereage input corrent ! using digital multimeters to low rpms isn´t correct !if you meter have a frequenz meter built in if you conect him to a small coil you can determinate easely the rpms of the rotor....

any way this is one more prove that newman motor works and have a incredible power !!!!

    great job man !!!!

  • "to do this measures use a anolog ampermeter that will show you the avereage input corrent !"

You cannot spell correctly, but you still believe you are qualified to tell people how to measure power and energy consumption? Sheeeish.
