i did this type of bedroom garden in my student days.lack of space was a problem.its hard but good for learning.try shade loving ornamentals.they do better with no sun.

@vidaripollen Thanks for commenting. Yes right, I should do shade loveing plants for inside. But these are going to go outside, as soon as I get around to moving them and the fish. I plan on doing a much bigger set up too, if everything goes ok. This is pretty much just experimental.
