its the concepts before the actual car was released. i personally like the look of the IX better. People who own an Evo 8 and/or 9 should hold to them cause they will be worth a lot one day. The IX's my favorite...but the Evo X is a more practical/everyday car and has somewhat better performance than the old models.

I'm glad they didn't stick with the concept, the current one looks better. The viii is probably my favorite, but I own an x (gsr) cuz I am very broad shouldered and it's larger interior fits me more. I wouldn't say it has better performance than the older evo's. It's heavier.  It still has great performance and is very comparable. All the 4g63 guys who hate on it have not driven an x spirited, or they wouldn't hate :)

i agree. also, when i say better performance., i was meaning to say that the car is more refined. the electronics on the car are more advanced and work with the car better than before. its one of the main things Mitsubishi focused on when they made it. plus on the bright side...the evo X here in the states now has AYC! awesome ..i wish they kept the 8 and 9 bodystyle for a little longer though

Yeah both my cars have Evo motors in them, My GSX (2gb) has the Evo lll Motor (4G63) AWD, Intercooled, Turbo, And my 09 Ralliart Has the Evo X MR Motor (4B11) and Twin Clutch Tranny, AWD, Intercooled, Turbo...

I'm not sure what you mean, But the motor and Tranny is the same off the Evo X MR the ONLY difference is that my gear ratios in 5th and 6th are a bit longer for fuel economy and comfort for you and the engine,Can you be more Specific on what you disagree with me about.

The Evo 9 is great,, The Ralliart is not that cheap about 12k less than the Evo X Mr, Because of the smaller turbo/intercooler, Suspension is from the Evo 9, The X has a better more expensive suspension, Recaro seat package worth about 3k difference, and Different brakes, which makes the Ralliart a decent amount lighter, and the Ralliart makes its max torque and max Hp quicker than the X being a smaller turbo, lighter, and on a lot less Boost, The Ralliart does have milder cams than the X's,

You can spend as much as you want on a ralliart lancer...but it will never be the same as an Evo. You can definitely make the ralliart just as fast...but it will still be FWD. The Evo has such a sophisticated AWD system. Even if the ralliart gets tuned up to 300hp, the Evo is still a better all around performance car...Which is why it costs so much extra. Much more cost effective to buy the actual evo rather than a lancer and try to modify it to be competative. Just speaking the truth

It was an alright video, would of liked to of seen more footage of the Evo in its natural environment like tarmac and gravel rally stages. Also the first two car pics of the Evo 1 and 2 were actually Evo 3s. Still good video.
