Well, I do know that Arsene is trying to pull a "Vieira return". I hope so. The dude is on his was to 34, but it's better than nothing. Our DM were so weak last season that any little bumps will knock then into the ground. Maybe Vieira can teach these kids to be physical and, more importantly, turn defense into offensive possessions.
Speaking of Gignac, the kid saved the roosters from another embarrassment. Arsene needs to go fo this kid, if TFC is in the 5th or lower in Ligue 1.

I hope Arsene get Gignac instead, but seems like Chamakh is closer to the transfer.
But Chamakh will be an upgrade. I don't think his finish is worse than Bentner. And I think his skill is better than Ade (and possibly without so many offsides every match). On top of that, his speed and passing are better, which will fit our style.

honestly i dont this would b a good signing for us... he has more speed and seems to b much quicker on the the ball than ade. As for his finishing... he being at arsenal will help change all that... look at When ade jus came he wasnt good of a finisher either. but look at him now. i for one would love to c wat he could breing to the table. He sucks at scoring but he has technique and speed. He can play second striker behind Eduardo when RVP injured or behind RVP when Eduardo is injured.
Its obvious that Wenger doesnt have trust in Bendtner.
I really still wish a CDM tho. I have to say Alex Song isnt good enough to play for a top flight team. He is more like a Hull or West Ham player.

But that will not solve our defence woes. When we attack we usually win, but on certain occasions when the front is not doing too well, we need the rear to guard properly.

Look we missed out at Huntelaar, but Chamakh is not going to be a flop. Wenger knows what hes doing. And by the way Zidane (advisor to Real Madrid) said that we bid 17million but AC milan have agreed the fee. but if he doesnt agree terms with them maybe will be in the race for him. But Chamakh wont be a flop he work rate is excelent he is very fast, and Wenger can turn him into a goalscorer.

Not impressed. His goal scoring record was around 1 in 3 last season in a far weaker league. Given that we have made £40 million from Adebayor and Toure, why can't we go out and sign a proven goal scorer.
Hunterlaar has a sensational record, he has played with RVP and we can get him for about £15 million.
Why take a risk on someone that has shown few signs of being up to the Premiership, when there are others up to the challenge, who we can sign and still make a massive profit.

I do think that we have enough strikers, but Chamakh looks alright. I think he's a great dribbler, just needs to work on his finishing. Of course, I probably can't say that just by looking at YouTube videos since they all show his misses as well and that changes the way I think of him compared to if I just watched videos of his goals. I think he's decent, and would probably do better with assists then with goals because of his great dribbling ability.
Anyways, Wenger knows.
