The characters have been reduced to 41 charcaters or around that. the new fighting system is just pure gay ass shit, and to top it off the story mode is just cutscene after cutscene. At start playing singleplayer isnt bad but multiplayer sucks, no skill at all.

it's too bad the Dragon Ball Z game couldn't have made a decent entry into the HD consoles. Think about this : skill involved tenkaichi like combat system, giant bosses & battles with a story mode that follows the anime and gets it right, all the characters of the serie playable, character creation, online mode......... That would have been awesome... instead it's just one awful game per year, so the studio can cash in... Shame...

Not budokai 1/tenkaichi 1. the problem isn't the game, it's that you assume the gameplay of the first game in a series will be 3rd game quality, even though they have to make a million character models. Just enjoy the progress they've made with this game, esp. in story mode, and wait for gameplay improvements in the next installments

Also the game is about button mashing and luck. no skill involved, It is nothing like tenkaichi. I recommend raging blast 2. Has a lot more characters and a challenge mode. Sure maybe this one has hero mode, but the character creation sucks. Please take my word on it.
