US Soldiers never leaves a man behind, even if they are "Lagging". Everybody knows that US Forces has no major bases in Afghanistan, their bases are mostly abandoned houses and they are supplied with little surviellance, so everybody has to stay together. US Soldiers never leaves a man behind, even if they are "Lagging". Everybody knows that US Forces has no major bases in Afghanistan, their bases are mostly abandoned houses and they are supplied with little surviellance, so everybody has to stay together. Its pretty obvious that Peters knows what he is talking about when he says that this soldier deserted his unit. Most of these privates get in the Army thinking they can do what they want and are not realizing that this is a WAR & not a COD game

According to what I have read and heard, no military guys are supporting this Bergdahl. So I agree there is something very fishy going on with this dude. I'll bet he ends up later becoming a Taliban fighter or will be determined to be a deserter. One or the other.

Rules of engagement, POW, etc,. Oh how critical we as Americans can judge our own soldiers, but yet our treatment of others is OK?? Who are we to give reasons for why he is behaving the way he is. All I know is that he is better off than any captivie enemies by Americans!!

What pisses me off with these videos is that, these deceptive muslim pigs try to make videos in accordance to wat the quran says about treatment of war prisoners BUT in reality they actually torcher and treat the prisoners like shit. If you do end up then supposed to give signs. Plus its the dumb PFC's fault he got captured in the first place. Sucks to be him

Plain and simple, if you choose to join the military, then you should be willing to die for your country. A lot of officers these days complain about how higher ups who are in a position of power and this is their first war behave like they have a stick up their ass. Gung-ho as hell and totally not taking anything other than "regulation" into account. I agree with you.
