Megapixels doesn't say anything. Mine has an 11 megapixel camera and the photos are horribly awfully ugly. It's a bpr 6. There's VERY much distortion and it can't see much in "low light conditions". Even though the light in my room is on, it's still yellow and blurry. The photos are really vague if you don't hold it perfectly still. And if you do, they are still horrible. High Definition Camera: 1280x960-pixel resolution. Seriously high definition camera? They gave my the wrong adapter too.

Anyone who does not know this, almost all of these camera pens work in OSX or linux. The reviewer is saying it will not work with "apple Macintosh"... Simply is not true. If you are using Linux you won't have problems with this either.

The annoying thing about these spy pens is that there are so many damn versions, with different methods of button pressing, charging, led colors, etc. I bought a spypen off of ebay but the instructions are garbage. I thought I'd find a youtube video explaining the pen but every video has a different set of instructions. Sigh.

Pen has problems (I have one). The audio quality is so bad you can't hear conversation (but, it clearly records dogs barking in the neighborhood !!!). You also have to hold the pen in a very obvious way to make a video that shows what you want to aim at. Video quality is low res but useable and the pen makes a dandy USB flash drive. I recently got a BIC lighter with MUCH better sound (no internal memory) that uses a micro SD card. I posted a YouTube vid of video and still shots from it.

Try recording video where you aren't suppose to or are asked by security to turn off your camera. Try obtaining video without getting questionable looks or people freaking out because you're video recording. Try having decent quality video recording device with you at all times that weighs less than an ounce. Cellphone camera video is shit!

One thing will become PAINFULLY apparent when (if) you get a pencam, is that it is not capable of recording 30 hours of video!! Do the math folks...you get almost 1 hour per Gb of memory, so you will get roughly 4 hours of video (not to mention ambient noise also uses up memory).

With 4Gb of memory, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE to get 30 hours using avi compression at the picture size specified.

They also claim 2 hours of battery life...more like 1 hour... I have two of these pens, trust me.

Mine stuck on with both orange and blue light not turning off, used the reset button and it has yet to do anything but write letters with the pen. No lights no nothing. Computers running windows and linux will not recognize.

I got one recently. I'm having problems with it.

When I click the top button just once it doesn't go into stanby mode. The yellow light goes on then the blue one follows. It doesn't even wait for me to click it a second time. Also once the blue light comes on it never stops. I held the button forever and it would not stop. I had to wait till batteries ran out. Finally when I plug it into the computer there are no files on the memory.

Anybody know what coulda gone wrong?

you should expect much from a chinese product , its a risk but anyways here is a tip: try letting its battery die 100% then recharge it and test it.. this should fix the problem :) let me know if i helped..

yep. for MP9 series with 352x288 pxl avi file doesn't work wih mac, EXCEPT if u r using mac with intel core 2 duo, you can install window xp, so bootcamp is needed. start up your mac with window, and the pen will work. me, my self after copying the avi file to windows, then restart u'r mac with OSX, to see u'r video, you have to convert the avi file to another avi or other movie extention using visualhub application, then u can see the video.

you mean on mac book/mac book pro? you have to make partition on your hard disc(only mac with intel core). Say u r mac has 160Gb total HD space, make 140 for mac and 20 for windows, it depends how big space u wanna use for your windows. For installing the window xp, better ask your local mac dealer bro. Just remember, to run this pen, u have to start up ur mac with windows (bootcamp). Using virtual won't work. By the way, I'm not a spy pen seller, just a user who want to share experience. ;P
