Alright not so much a founder, but more of a catalyst. Cannibal Corpse is not one of the big names thrown out when you ask people like Oli of BMTH, or Mitch of Suicide Silence, they will tell you that Slipknot is a huge influence on them, as well as Slayer. Slipknot made screaming more clean and more main stream for the general public, he does use growl screaming and high pitched squeals in alot of his music. These new bands left out his singing and added more power to the vocals. CATALYST!
