@fourmanfilms yea its not a good tactic on a peaceful crowd... especiallly when people who werent even in the protest got caught...

There were quite a few Bankers inside the crowd and they were fine. Nobody bothered anyone. It was totally peacefull. The police knew that everone wanted to leave to goto either the Stop THe War Rally or to the environment summit at East London Uni. The Police Were Behaving Politically to suppress free speech and association.

I was held for well over 3 hours in precisely this kettle. No access to public toilets. No access to food. No access to water. No access to medical facilities. All the police officers could only respond "I don't know" when asked why we were being held. I saw people collapse, I saw people become very distressed, I saw a mother with a baby refused permission to exit the cordon. I subsequently also made an official complaint to the IPCC.

It's mindless containing so many people in such a confined area. As we can see, for more than 3 hours the protesters caused no trouble, contradicting claims of missiles being hurled at police and such like.
