@d1968leon Yep, I was 8 watching this in the PI. I never finished the series bacause of Marcos cancelling it, plus my family moved out to California. Fast forward to now. I finally got to finish the full series. I never realized how deep the story line was of family and friendship between the characters. I was more interested in the action at the time.The twist between brothers at the very end was a nice touch. The best giant robot anime of all time, for sure!

She did a great job and it's one of the most popular animation songs in the entire world. You can still buy the Voltes V original sound track CD at Amazon Japan and HMV Japan. The ending song sung by Ichirou Mizuki is also included.

When I was a child channel 7 re-aired voltes V mid/late 90's and I was curious what was all the hype and even mtv had a special show for interviewing people who watched it back in the 70's , I thought first this is just another damn stupid show but I thought wrong I was epic and it became part of my childhood.
