BUY BASED ON WHAT U NEED TO DO! If you wanna play games buy a PC, if you make music/edit photos buy a mac. Why is it that 90% of artists/photographers use a Mac. Probably cuz windows is not ideal to do that. Plus with 5-700$ u can still get a beast pc to download music/movies, if that's what ure worried about. It's pretty simple to me on what to get.
Is me or everyone in here are just talking about their laptops and beign selfish? Dude, who cares of your computer stop beign selfish and make something else *,*
the only thing i love apple is ipod touch 4. About Mac, no offence bcoz i never used it and its way too costly in India that makes me go to pc. May be mac is much better in quality, but its bit of overpriced. And on the other hand, everythings got problems. Well I do alot of video and music editing, and I don't care what NO ONE says, it simply runs smoother on Mac OS than Windows and always seems to have been that way for me. But don't get me wrong, I have to have both and fortunately I do, so while others argue and go to war about which is the better, more cheaper/expensive, etc... etc.... The truth is, that games for mac is really complicated or u simply can't play that game what u want to play. I have seen many times when my friend (who owns Macbook) is really struggling with the games which are not working on mac.
I have used windows since 2000, and used mac for about 2 years now in my place of work , but I still cant get my head around why anyone would possibly pay an extra £1,000 of their hard earnd money for a mac over pc, I have spent ages stiving for why people are buying macs over pc, and why people believe mac is the dominant platform, can someone please tell me why they think it is, because all i have found is that the only reason to spend that kind of money is for the interafce and the design????
Two reasons: simplicity and fashion. Those are the two reasons people buy Macs. Style over substance. The simplicity factor is fine, but...like most people I prefer being able to dictate my own path instead of having someone hold my hand. Look at Apple's website, specifically the Mac section. Look how they've carefully worded things to misguide their target demographic: computer illiterates. It's not the user's fault. It's Apple taking them for a ride.
windows 8 sucks bull shit. ive used it. 7 is way better. even vista is better than windows 8. i hate windows xp, its so bland. i havent really used a mac in depth but im hoping to get one.
@CRYOmine You haven't used Windows 8. You've only used the Developer Preview, which is how Windows 8 is going to look on tablets (and not desktop PC's).
@CRYOmine The basics will be the same, but the UI might be different in some ways. You won't see this whole Immersive UI (= for tablets) on your desktop PC though. I guess it will basically be like how Vista changed to 7.
@ligerman30 are you kidding. you can do anything that you can do on a mac or windows machine for free. Open source is the way to go just because its not being made for money, like mac or windows.
@seansdoesntdoweed You can do web-surfing and use open-office. Drivers for Linux are bad(causing lower frame rates), and wine only lets you play certain games, It's not good for gaming. It's not compatible with serious editing software like logic, final cut, though, I think Photoshop is available on all platforms, even Linux. Sure, you can find "programs with the same function", but their not the same programs and don't contain nearly as many features, a lot of them vital to professionals.
@ligerman30 It definitely depends on what your use is. I personally use Linux for every day computing. But, if you want games go for a windows, or editing go for a mac. But for the average person, I find Linux (Ubuntu) better there.
@seansdoesntdoweed I've used all platforms and they all can do everyday computing very well. So long as the OS is up to date. I wouldn't recommend using ms dos.
@seansdoesntdoweed No, your talking about GUI linux. Mandrivia, Linux Mint, Debian, Ubuntu. The point is, Linux doesn't have an edge in regards to general usage. All of the up to date operating systems are good at that.
@tuinslanggert Macs do get Viruses, not as many as PCs obviously because PCs represent over 89% of the market while Apple makes 5%. Therefore A LOT more hackers try to hack PCs. The "freezes" have not happen since like Windows 98 and Vista... IDK who has a frozen Windows 7... In a Mac you can't run MOST games out there... and MANY programs are only for PC.
Actually, the opposite is true. A PC can do everything a Mac can do, and more. The best a Mac will do is achieve equal performance, but it will never exceed, and that's on a GOOD day. Macs do get viruses. Read "Enterprise Mac Security: OSX Snow Leopard," then google Pwn2Own's history, and read up on McAfee's entry about Mac viruses exploding at a rate of 10% per month.
@DubuqueRS It's not only both operating systems... and if you are "fighting agaisnt" Microsoft.... Why are you buying a product from them? Why would I buy a Mac that is worth 2K$.... when I can buy the same computer for less than 1K$. I know the outer layer is pretty but it's not 1K$ extra lol. And besides if you put Win7 on a Mac it's the same as buying a PC for Microsoft at least. They are still gaining $
@manpaisa92 It's not about WHAT you can do. It's HOW you can do it. Mac OS has a different workflow about it that works better for some applications, Windows tends to work better for other things, and some things both do great. That's why I have Windows on my Mac. Windows 7 is fully functional and runs exceptionally well on Intel Macs. The reverse can't be said about PCs. But if you have no need for MacOS or premium hardware, it's hard to justify the expense. Who needs an i7 quad to watch porn?
@CaptainCocaine I have an i7-2630 quadcore that runs 2.3GHz. It has 16 RAM and 1T of storage. I've NEVER had a single bit of lag running any program or game. The only lag that I could get in games is when my brother downloads movies and my Internet connections is super low. That PC cost me about $1200. How much would a Mac be? About 3K? PCs can't run Mac OS because Apple doesn't let it. Otherwise it will run it faster than Macs.
@manpaisa92 I wasn't talking about performance, I was talking about the interface. There are something that are just simpler to do on a Mac, and likewise some things that are simpler to do on Windows.
"Otherwise it will run it faster than Macs" Even though Macs run Windows 7 better than PCs until you use comparably priced units, where they're pretty much even.There's more to a computer than Processor, RAM, and Storage. The motherboard makes a big difference in price and performance.
You're......kind of on the right track, but you fail to comprehend cost differences. I just built a mid-range rendering workstation in May of 2011 that includes an i7-950 8-thread quad-core, 12GB of 1800Mhz DDR3 RAM by a superior manufacturer, 2TB HD, a 128GB SSD drive, Gene III motherboard with X-fi, two ML238 24" LED monitors and a Blu-Ray read/writer. Cost? $1500.
To duplicate that, I'd need a customized iMac with a $4000 price tag. Not good.
@MaestroDraven 1st: You built it, that's savings right there. 2nd: Yours is a workstation, not an all in one, like an iMac. Smaller form factors increase cost dramatically. Also, maxing out a Mac through Apple is never a good idea. Buy the base, then upgrade, and you'll save hundreds, if not thousands, depending on the upgrade. I readily admit that their upgrades are significantly overpriced. That's why I bought my own RAM upgrade.
True, but the initial $1999 price tag is still absolutely unfathomable when the configuration consists of 3.1Ghz Quad-core, 4GB of RAM, a 1TB drive, and an inferior mobile-based 6970 Radeon. I'm still $500 ahead and I have a system almost four times as powerful, plus it's future-proofed with a great degree of expandability and versatility. You may be right about form factors, but....I can think of several LAPTOPS that would eat the iMac for breakfast.
@MaestroDraven Well the iMac is basically a stationary laptop. That's why it has a mobile-based Video card. They do that so they can fit the whole computer into the monitor. You can't fairly price compare an iMac with a Tower PC that takes up 10-15x as much space. When you compare the base $1199 iMac to a smiliarly priced Lenovo Ideacentre, the specs are closer. The Lenovo still has better specs, but not by much. Then there's build quality. Aluminum vs plastic. And Apple loctites every screw.
The iMac, like all Macs, is underpowered and not up to the tasks that today's software demands. Why I should pay $1999 for an iMac with only 4GB of RAM is beyond me. That renders Photoshop virtually useless if you're working with multiple high res files, which I do regularly, and using AE or Premiere is practically useless. For $1500, I built a machine that seamlessly utilizes all three (at the same time, no less) and allows me to actually get work done.
@MaestroDraven Well, my Laptop is running a GTX 570M, 8GB 1333Mz RAM, a Core i7 2670QM CPU, two 500GB Hybrid Drives, and a 1080p Display. All for $1515.
For a 21" iMac to meet or beat that, it would run over $1700, minimum. And that's with Core i5, no hyper-threading (which my CPU can do).
@manpaisa92 I never said they were equal. I just said you can get everything on windows on a mac simply by installing windows on a mac. I have like 5 Windows computers and 0 macs. I wish I had a mac. And specs arent everything when it comes to computers..
@Kwakobo Tell that to big games lol. Go see if a Mac can run them, especially running Windows XD lol. Poor Mac will burn to death before it can run them properly
@manpaisa92 Oh seriously? i didnt know that lol. I thought an imac running windows would be exactly the same as a pc with the exact same specs running windows would be the same.. i guess not
@Kwakobo Besides being over 2K$ more for the same specs. There is a difference. Macs run Ios AND Windows at the same time when you install windows. This makes them slower than PCs with the same Specs. BTW I don't think Macs come in QUAD-CORES lol
Or you could build a superior 12-Core SR-2 Classified-based PC for $2500-$3000, with better hardware. They've destroyed the 12-Core Mac Pro in benchmarks.
@Metallica2131 What is..? Putting windows on a mac? Or mac os on a PC? Not really, both OS's have their own perks, to say mac os is pointless because there is windows would be a blinded statement.
Even if you think you have no viruses you probably do, viruses aren't just programs that give you a blue screen or shut down your computer or spam pop-ups, some run in the background without you even knowing, (keyloggers, etc)
Windows fanboys (losers) only care about video games like CoD because they're too lazy to go learn a real talent, or play a sport, like baseball or soccer.
Mac is for those who want a good computer and have a life, and only use their computers for movies, photos, etc.
So instead of wasting your money on a super expensive gaming machine, for just one game, get a Mac & join the army.
Super expensive machines aren't just for gaming. They're also for industries requiring heavy processing workloads. Macs and PCs are the same. One simply costs way more, does less, and does it at half the speed. The blanket ridicule technique is cliched and tired, and holds no argument.
@CharlieMarley401 For one thing, I have Windows PC and hate CoD. My channel is a gaming channel but that's not what I do every second of the day. Another thing is I am a Amateur Storm Spotter (Not career yet) and I go hiking 2 times a week for 2 hours. If you think everyone who has a PC doesn't have a life, you obviously got some real bad knots in your brain.
that super expensive gaming machine you're referring to is cheaper than any mac out there. also you're comment is like really stupid, it shows how ignorant you are. tough i hope you're just some stupid troll. either way, i feel sorry for you.
@CharlieMarley401 CoD is rarely played on the PC, mostly on consoles(ewwww console gaming). And tell me what this "super expensive gaming machine" you are talking about is referring too. My laptop was merely $700 and can run Battlefield 3 at a tweaked medium settings (textures and meshes are set to high however) and Skyrim at high settings. Or, according to you, I could spend $2,000 on a computer with less power.
For $1100 you can build beast of a gaming PC and also have a great video editing PC so I don't see any reason why anyone would pay that much for a Mac. Don't give me the bullshit virus crap there's Microsoft Security Essentials which is free. Only idiots who don't know how to surf the web or don't know what they are downloading get viruses.
@GJSpot Haha, dude, relax man. Its just a computer. I'm a mac user, and I like it!
Its like branded clothes:)
Stop judging people who get viruses, thats not true. The thing is, when a windows computer start, it leaves the internet ports open, and then its easy to "install" a virus on. Yeah, i know, if you're only browsing on google or something, you won't get it, but its still kinda easy to get em'.
@FerdyfistTAAH Its called TCP and UPD ports every computer uses them yes even Macs. Where are you getting your facts from. Do a little bit of research buddy.
The only things to critisyse is directx 11 and no proper 64 bit support. I don't really like 7 because it hasn't some ui functions xp has.
but anyway, i see you say things that are true. and you're tryin to be objectiv. and in fact i just startet typing to tell you that i like you for that.
i'm using 10.6.6/8 for more than a year now. it's and there is almost nothing i like or make me more efficient compared to a microsoft OS. And i definitly don't see what you not like about xp, in my opinion it's one of the best OS's ever.
i automatically like dave because he isnt a fan boi. whatever happened to the simple mindedness of choosing a computer for what you want in a computer instead of buying a computer because of a brand name/software it runs
I've never had a virus in my 8 years using Windows switching from version to version. I've used XP, Vista and 7 for a lot of time and I've never had many problems. They all go light speed. All I need is Microsoft Security Essentials for free and it's kept me safe.
I think iPad is the best tablet. I think iPhone is by far the best phone. I think iPod Touch is by far the best MP3 player but when it comes to Windows vs Mac - Windows is definitely my preference. I love Apple. I just prefer Windows.
I dont know about vista, xp or mac, BUT since i have got windows 7 (from last 3 years), i have never got a virus and i DON'T use an antivirus..take that in mind!
If you don't use aantivirus then how do you know you don't have a virus? IT doesn't matter which platform you're on. Using a computer without virus protection is like having sex without a condom...........in Nigeria.
And what do you think about an OS that allows you to execute software made for Microsoft, Apple, Linux/Unix or Solaris natively without being forced to use any Middleware and that is installable on any hardware architecture that currently dominates the market such as x86, x86-64, POWER-PC or ARM?
We are now finishing the first BETA Version of our Operating System FenOS and we warmly invite you to discuss together with us our Operating System.
@xSHATiN Mac dont dual boot for shit, You wanna use mac and run a windows based program on in a shitty mac emulator be my guess and oh yeah, Windows 7 can dual boot, with Linux and every linux distro, and Mac OS.
Well put. Last I checked, Apple's hardware is (at least) 16 months old and (at most) 4 years old. Those aren't very triumphant facts. Apple did pay a large sum of money to get Thunderbolt on the Macs, but it's not exclusive to the platform and is coming to PCs soon, anyways. Meanwhile, AMD is releasing Bulldozer 8 and 16-Core CPUs which are reporting an 89% leap in performance over the top-rated server CPUs in the entire industry. There is no comparison between platforms.
the newest chipset by intel, which is the LGA2011, has no released two new CPU's. The 3930k && 3960x, which are both 6-core CPU's that beat the the Bulldozer 12-core by a clear mile.
Although the intel stuff is way more expensive, in this case, you really do get what you pay for.
I actually wasn't aware of that! Technology shifts so rapidly and the Bulldozers just dropped, so I haven't really had time to keep up on the Intel camp. Personally, I cast my lot with Intel but I have to admit that I was surprised that AMD has managed to excel lately.
all operating systems are vulnerable to viruses, Unix based operating systems are less exposed due to better software. the one thing Microsoft could do is offer a version of Windows Defender which updates automatically, and independent of Windows Update. that is the same issue with Internet (s)Exploder.
I suppose an apple is ok for basic use but it really doesn't offer that much in terms of processing power, GPU, CPU etc. compared to a PC (plus a PC is fully customisable). In the gaming world the most games are only compatible for windows and that makes almost any apple useless, so windows is more practical. If you are more of an advanced user or a gamer the choice is obvious
That margin has shrunk in the last 2 years, I will admit. After public pressure, Apple has finally opted for some video cards that actually do something useful, as opposed to what they were using before. Macs aren't bad machines,but you are right. They are limited in processing power. Even the big Mac Pros can't go toe-to-toe with SR-2 Classified 12-Core PCs. The Mac was designed to be an idiot-proof everyday computer, but Apple fails outright on the price tag. Not worth it.
I disagree. Windows is Windows, and has been doing the same thing since the introduction of Windows 95. It has done precisely what OSX has done: update itself as the years go by. You may be interested to know that Apple copied the taskbar from Microsoft back in 1999. Oh yes, it's quite true. Both companies have done their own thing and have respectable OS's, but Snow Leopard and Lion have both been incremental updates at best. Nothing exciting or groundbreaking.
i think that overall the mac is more for editing things and for speed and graphics and the pc is more user friendly because i noticed the pc is way easier to use if you are a first timer
Not necessarily. Editing, graphics and speed is actually where Macs suffer the most. OSX has an inherent lagging issue that keeps rearing its ugly head (source: CNET), and when it comes down to high-end processing and pipeline performance, it always loses to its superior: Windows 7. The benchmarks have shown it. A 12-Core Mac Pro may be an attractive workstation, but it is completely overshadowed by a superior 12-Core SR-2 Classified PC build.
@MaestroDraven that is not were macs suffer the most macs are the top computers that people use to edit videos etc. Macs are what tv shows use to edit there video so why would you think that it is were they suffer the most
Wrong. Your choice of computer has no bearing on the power of editing. Most people aren't inherently aware of Mac flaws. Just check the benchmarks. Why are SR-2 Classified 12-Core PC workstations at the top of the ladder with scores in the mid-20s, leaving the 12-Core Mac Pro with a 14.7 score? Why is Apple considering axing the Mac Pro after several years of bad sales? If they were the top machine, they'd be selling like crazy.
@MaestroDraven ok ok ok u are so much much wrong the only reason they have bad sales is bc the computers are expensive bc it does a lot of things but are you sayin windows can handle more
That's correct, yes. Look at it this way: Go to Apple's site and customize a 12-Core Mac Pro with two 2.93 Xeons, 48GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, a 2TB HD, a Radeon HD 5870, RAID card, and two LED displays, and the cost will clock in at a ridiculous $13,297. If you priced out the same PC in a SR-2 Classified configuration with FASTER RAM, FASTER Xeons (3.06Ghz), and two 27" Dell UltraSharp monitors at 2560x1600 res, the cost would finish at $8134.
My friend, you will never get a virus on a PC, provided you are being cautious. Watch what you're downloading, don't click through install packages without checking on what else is being installed, and make sure your AV is up to date. From first hand experience I can tell you that this works. I've gone years without viruses on my machines. By contrast, there's no way to tell if a Mac has a virus, rootkit or trojan which is VERY serious stuff.
@MaestroDraven "never get a virus on a PC provided you are being cautious"
I call bull crap. For the simple reason that it's logically impossible. No matter how careful you are you're absolutely going to get adware at the very least. Furthermore, it's almost impossible to dodge drive-bys if you're doing any serious research on the internet.
Simply no, you must be running McAfee on your computer, or you're simply never on the internet.
I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at, but like I said, I've ran the experiments myself on my own machines. 6 months on one, 8 months on the other, and the moment I installed Malwarebytes (the best, period) on my machine to check for viruses, there were a grand total of 0. I don't know what you mean by "drive-bys," that sounds like a made up term, but either way, it's not impossible provided you're careful. I would never run AVG over Avast, either. Very bad mistake.
@MaestroDraven Malwarebytes is an anti-malware, not an anti-virus, and not an anti-spyware.
AVG works for Linux and Mac, to help prevent them from spreading windows viruses without knowing it. Avast, however, to my knowledge does not support either mac or linux. While I personally use Avast on my windows machine, I don't see how that connects to Mac and Linux....
You not knowing what a drive-by is doesn't shock me, it's a newer terminology.
Malwarebytes will track down viruses and spyware equally, my friend. As for "newer terminology," no, I hate to break this to you but there are several different terms for what you're speaking of. You simply chose the most obscure one. Either way, I don't use Linux, as I need to be able to use up-to-date programs. You know.....staying on my game, and all that. As for Macs, enough is said right there. No use for them.
You're argumentative. Not surprising, given your channel. I come here to debate. Anyone who runs antivirus on Linux obviously isn't very computer-literate to begin with, so your own actions have sort of proven my point for me. Anyways, I'm moving on. I doubt you'll do the same.

ligerman30 1 month ago
@ligerman30 are you kidding. you can do anything that you can do on a mac or windows machine for free. Open source is the way to go just because its not being made for money, like mac or windows.
seansdoesntdoweed 1 month ago
@seansdoesntdoweed You can do web-surfing and use open-office. Drivers for Linux are bad(causing lower frame rates), and wine only lets you play certain games, It's not good for gaming. It's not compatible with serious editing software like logic, final cut, though, I think Photoshop is available on all platforms, even Linux. Sure, you can find "programs with the same function", but their not the same programs and don't contain nearly as many features, a lot of them vital to professionals.
ligerman30 1 month ago
@ligerman30 It definitely depends on what your use is. I personally use Linux for every day computing. But, if you want games go for a windows, or editing go for a mac. But for the average person, I find Linux (Ubuntu) better there.
seansdoesntdoweed 1 month ago
@seansdoesntdoweed I've used all platforms and they all can do everyday computing very well. So long as the OS is up to date. I wouldn't recommend using ms dos.

@ligerman30 Do you think im talking about Command line Linux? I mean an OS like Ubuntu or LinuxMint.
seansdoesntdoweed 1 month ago
@seansdoesntdoweed No, your talking about GUI linux. Mandrivia, Linux Mint, Debian, Ubuntu. The point is, Linux doesn't have an edge in regards to general usage. All of the up to date operating systems are good at that.

@manpaisa92 lol you can do everything on a mac what you can do on a windows, but a mac doesn't get a virus from it or a screen freeze like windows
tuinslanggert 3 weeks ago
@tuinslanggert Macs do get Viruses, not as many as PCs obviously because PCs represent over 89% of the market while Apple makes 5%. Therefore A LOT more hackers try to hack PCs. The "freezes" have not happen since like Windows 98 and Vista... IDK who has a frozen Windows 7... In a Mac you can't run MOST games out there... and MANY programs are only for PC.
manpaisa92 3 weeks ago
@tuinslanggert
MaestroDraven 3 weeks ago
@manpaisa92 you can do more on a mac because you can run both operating systems.

CaptainCocaine 3 weeks ago
@CaptainCocaine I have an i7-2630 quadcore that runs 2.3GHz. It has 16 RAM and 1T of storage. I've NEVER had a single bit of lag running any program or game. The only lag that I could get in games is when my brother downloads movies and my Internet connections is super low. That PC cost me about $1200. How much would a Mac be? About 3K? PCs can't run Mac OS because Apple doesn't let it. Otherwise it will run it faster than Macs.
manpaisa92 2 weeks ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@manpaisa92 I wasn't talking about performance, I was talking about the interface.
CaptainCocaine 2 weeks ago
@CaptainCocaine
Not good.
MaestroDraven 2 weeks ago
@MaestroDraven 1st: You built it, that's savings right there. 2nd: Yours is a workstation, not an all in one, like an iMac. Smaller form factors increase cost dramatically. Also, maxing out a Mac through Apple is never a good idea. Buy the base, then upgrade, and you'll save hundreds, if not thousands, depending on the upgrade. I readily admit that their upgrades are significantly overpriced. That's why I bought my own RAM upgrade.
CaptainCocaine 2 weeks ago
@CaptainCocaine

CaptainCocaine 2 weeks ago
@MaestroDraven I'd like to think that my custom Laptop can easily go head to head with a basic $1700 iMac, any day of the week.
I say this because the specs on my laptop meet or beat that of the iMac.
AndrewDeLong 2 weeks ago
@AndrewDeLong
MaestroDraven 2 weeks ago
@MaestroDraven Well, my Laptop is running a GTX 570M, 8GB 1333Mz RAM, a Core i7 2670QM CPU, two 500GB Hybrid Drives, and a 1080p Display. All for $1515.
For a 21" iMac to meet or beat that, it would run over $1700, minimum. And that's with Core i5, no hyper-threading (which my CPU can do).
Again, mind you, I'm only on a laptop.
AndrewDeLong 2 weeks ago
@manpaisa92 Well, you can put windows on a mac.. the reverse cant be said. (easily anyways)

@manpaisa92 I never said they were equal. I just said you can get everything on windows on a mac simply by installing windows on a mac. I have like 5 Windows computers and 0 macs. I wish I had a mac. And specs arent everything when it comes to computers..

Kwakobo 1 week ago
@Kwakobo Besides being over 2K$ more for the same specs. There is a difference. Macs run Ios AND Windows at the same time when you install windows. This makes them slower than PCs with the same Specs. BTW I don't think Macs come in QUAD-CORES lol
manpaisa92 1 week ago

codybuRrnocomm 2 months ago
@codybuRrnocomm
MaestroDraven 2 months ago
@MaestroDraven
Although AMD has release an 8 core and 16 core, which is great for them and is fairly priced.
It still isnt the best buy.
The 2nd gen i5 and i7, or in other words the 2500k, 2600k, 2700k series of CPU's, out preform the bulldozer
and the FX-8150 is suppose to be the best AMD will have a for awhile.
the bulldozer 8core gets benchmarks that match the 2500k.
the 2600k, which by the way are all quad core CPU's beat it out in raw processing power.
the 2700k, just utterly wins out.
codybuRrnocomm 2 months ago
@MaestroDraven
the newest chipset by intel, which is the LGA2011, has no released two new CPU's. The 3930k && 3960x, which are both 6-core CPU's that beat the the Bulldozer 12-core by a clear mile.
Although the intel stuff is way more expensive, in this case, you really do get what you pay for.
codybuRrnocomm 2 months ago
@codybuRrnocomm
I actually wasn't aware of that! Technology shifts so rapidly and the Bulldozers just dropped, so I haven't really had time to keep up on the Intel camp. Personally, I cast my lot with Intel but I have to admit that I was surprised that AMD has managed to excel lately.
MaestroDraven 2 months ago
all operating systems are vulnerable to viruses, Unix based operating systems are less exposed due to better software. the one thing Microsoft could do is offer a version of Windows Defender which updates automatically, and independent of Windows Update. that is the same issue with Internet (s)Exploder.

Acidsubzero180 2 months ago
@Acidsubzero180

MaestroDraven 2 months ago
i think that overall the mac is more for editing things and for speed and graphics and the pc is more user friendly because i noticed the pc is way easier to use if you are a first timer
kidprettykool1 2 months ago
@kidprettykool1
MaestroDraven 2 months ago
@MaestroDraven that is not were macs suffer the most macs are the top computers that people use to edit videos etc. Macs are what tv shows use to edit there video so why would you think that it is were they suffer the most
Phippsarts 2 months ago
@Phippsarts
MaestroDraven 2 months ago
@MaestroDraven ok ok ok u are so much much wrong the only reason they have bad sales is bc the computers are expensive bc it does a lot of things but are you sayin windows can handle more
Phippsarts 2 months ago
@Phippsarts
That's a $5163 difference.

By the by, AVG works on Linux and Mac. JS

Gotta stay on your game.

@Microtardz

@MaestroDraven *rolls eyes* Oh yes, Malwarebytes will definitely "track down" Viruses and spyware. Totally bro, you're so right.
As for most obscure one. I scoff at you.
"up-to-date" programs. Lol, what are you my retarded high school computer class teacher who thought he was the proest hacker in all the world?
I knew you were trolling, but damn man. It's just sad at this point.

You're argumentative. Not surprising, given your channel. I come here to debate. Anyone who runs antivirus on Linux obviously isn't very computer-literate to begin with, so your own actions have sort of proven my point for me. Anyways, I'm moving on. I doubt you'll do the same.

@MaestroDraven "I come here to debate" Typical youtube troll. You want to stroke your own ego. Who exactly is the moderator for this "debate"
I never said I ran an antivirus on Linux, I said you could. If you're going to strawman me, do realize it's points in my favor for your said "debate"
What exactly was your point? Malwarebytes an ANTI-MALWARE, is some how an anti-virus and anti-spyware.
Malwarebytes has a SMALL spyware database. And NO virus database.
3 seconds of googling.
But hf sir.
