  • I have an ESP licensed floyd on my LTD. It was a cheap guitar, but man it's great. The only thing is it's tuning stability, the licensed floyd drops out of tune ALOT, and there's only two springs in the back. Is it okay if I replace it with an original? And even get new tuning machines for my headstock? It's a great guitar with a great feel, I just think it needs to be upgraded.

  • Was the orignal floyd rose a direct swap for the old floyd rose special? Or did you have to re route the cavity, or drill holes?

  • you painted it by yourself?

  • SLAYAAAAAAAH

  • what song is 0:56?

  • @felipe1551 Angel of death

  • Damn! Great playing! Nice guitar too man! I'm thinking of replacing the Jackson Floyd Rose on my JS32 Rhoads with this, should I?

  • @granto425

yep, floyd rose originals are the best, top of the line.

  • With a Floyd Rose trem, do you have to adjust the springs even when you just drop the low e ?

  • @DimeBagDarrelForever well... yes if you want it to work properly, event though there wouldn't be tthat drastic of a difference, it would somewhat lighten the experience and ability of the Floyd, and also it may increase fret buzz, because of the uneveness of the floyd rose. You could try it and if it needs adjusting or you don't mind the buzz or problems sure.:D

  • @BUFFW Sooo.. Best route is to get one of those D-Tuna things that EVH has?

  • @BUFFW Does the D-Tuna disable the trem's ability to mad pull ups and harmonic squeals?

  • @DimeBagDarrelForever if you mean tune down to d.... well; if you set the floyd up again it should be fine. Its actually better when tuned lower than standard if its setup right, cause it will make it less likely to break a string and you could pull up higher

  • @BUFFW Makes sense haha I'll probably put my next guitar to d standard with the floyd rose trem, and just keep my string through body guitar for standard e and drop d. Will be alot easier till I get another floyd equipped guitar for standard e

  • @BUFFW i think he ment the van halen signature D-tuna, its a piece that you put on your floyd rose to tune down from E to D by just pulling it in or out.

  • Sloppy my dick! You played great!

  • whats that song you play at first?

  • okay man i got a question... how the hell do you change from e standard to d standard?

  • i use elixir strings gauge 11-49 tuned to D ,when i use the whammy bar my strings always go out of tune, what is the problem with my guitar? an my 6th stringsaddle are also quite loose... but the other saddles is ok..... i have to mantion tha i also have a D-tuna..... I have a Kramer pacer with floyd rose system... i have a fender strat as well and that guitar always stays in tune but it doesen´t have a floyd:P i use use the kramer for low tunings...

    any advice?

  • 1:36 LOL XD MAN

  • JEEZUS! You abuse that shit like no other, thats really impressive. :D

  • I wonder if he likes Metallica.

  • hey whenever i change my guitar strings i manage to break my small e string (im using ernie ball regular slinkys) hekp me please

  • @steventhekillerfull Ok dude. Here are some of my suggestions, from my experience of repairing my guitar:

1.) If its breaking even if you are not whammying, you will have to take it to a tech immediately, because there may be a bur in the metal that is cutting the string

2.) If you are in -experienced with a floyd rose, make sure that you are not pulling up when your fretting a note on the high e, or really any string. If you do, it will cause it to break. Us F.L. ppl use harmonics. Plz reply.

  • i own a kh-202, i love it, i'm going to change pickups to an emg 81/60 set.

    BUT

if i only knew it was available even in white finish!!! Awww!! xDxDxD

  • since i changed into these strings my guitar(telecaster) sounds tinny and trebelly, not the ballsy sound it use to have, is there a problem, or do i need to set up my guitar

  • @05Mosh05

ok.....before i can help you i need to know a couple things.

what kind of strings and what gauge and did you put a new gauge on?

    what type of bridge?

i could help just i need to know a couple more things

  • @BUFFW oh its ok now, i think the guitar needed to adjust with the newnest of the strings, its still makes slight treble sound but no more buzzing, i think my pickups arent used to 10- 46 gauge strings

  • SLAYER :D

  • why did u upgrade ur kh202 u should have just gotten a kh602 the alder body gives a better tone and the neck thru body helps you alot with higher frets the kh202 is kind of built shitty and isn't really worth the 480 price tag

  • @xAnnihilationBandx

i know.... this is pretty good now, and the neck is actually pretty fast on mine. i do really wish i had the alder body, thats a great regret. :D

  • awesome vid man.

  • It´s been a long time coming, dude. But, I´m patient, when it comes to waiting videos from my friends. During the first half of the clip, sometimes your guitar sounded like an accelerating motorcycle! Anyway, looking forward to some bada** covers from you.

  • @Micku91

yeah this was quick and sloppy, soon theres gonna be a ...And Justice For all solo cover. also in the future, holy wars, five magics, and trapped under ice

    Thanks :D

  • @BUFFW Can´t wait! Good luck on whatever you´re gonna do. Rock on, fellow metal brother!!!
