  • She's beautiful. I read comments that there were whites in the video, so what? Blacks aren't the only people living in Africa, open the eyes. Besides, Kandia herself is light-skinned. In my own family there are many colors. We accept all of them and have lots of fun being alive. Just love life.

  • Why waste time commenting in a negative fashion it's just about the music right. No one can deny the beat is slick.

  • j adore

  • Beautiful ladies. I love those women. They all look so good that im having a difficult time trying to pick out the one I love. LOL. Im kinda feeling the blonde white girl!

  • Bembaliya So! Please let us all get along with another is what this Beautiful lady is telling us! Im loving those ladies. Beautiful song

  • There has been so much corruption going on in Africa. Thanks to my mother Kandia I can now see what needs to be done for the motherland. I learned so much by listening to ''MORTALITE". We have a very high infant mortality rate in Africa. My sisters are giving birth and dying. Our hospitals suck. We got no medecine. We got no doctors. Most of us were born at home. Oh what a pity

  • I love the song "Mortalite". The song has a very important message that Madam Kandia Kouyate is trying to address. Our leaders are so corrupt that that they have chosen to ignore our issues and problems. Africa has a high infant mortality rate due to lack of medicines and poor hospitals. I love you Kandia and I hate our leaders.

  • All those artists from West Africa especially Mali ain't got nothing on Kandia Kouyate. She is the best. Great voice, beautiful voice, Charming, adoreable. I mean look at her and tell me what is there not to like about my Kandia. God please continue to bless our "djeli mousso" from Kita.

  • Madam Kandia Kouyate became a grandmother on 4/9/2010. Her daughter TATA in Montreal gave birth to 2 boys that were twins. May God bless them with a healthy and long life. Kandia its your "LAHARE" Omar Dabo. I love you

  • I got a comment for the person that is calling themself "abskeita" and "VraiDiouf" . Shut up. So what madam Kandia wants to bleach her skin and be seen with white people in her video? Besides how do you know she bleached her skin? I hate people like you. I think you are racist. For Godsakes its the year 2010 we live in. So what is the big fuss about this beautiful black lady having white people in her video? "VraiDiouf" u are so fake. Please keep your racist comments to yourselves

  • Hello people all over the world we can all agree that this video is in deed on of the countless masterpiece MADAMKANDIA has given all nations around the world i dont know her personaly but feel a strong connetion with her threw the sissoko family, she will aqlways be one of the countless Idoles i hold dear to my heart MANY BLESSINGS TO U MADAM SORA with love n respect ms.mandiplon INSHALA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • belle chanson africaine mon DIEU accorde la ta grace quel puisse retrouver sa santé

  • i never consider this singer's songs, base on this particular song i must say that she is a talented singer, + the beat is perfect.

Good job kandia, i wish u get better soon

  • what does she mean by bembaliya?

  • it's like divergence; mésentente in french

  • dats wht i was thinking, since i wasnt sure about my understanding i said thanks to you.

  • Est-elle Malienne ou Guineenne? Je sais que le Bambara est parlee en Guinee et au Senegal.

  • Kandia Kouyaté est Malienne!!!!

  • I like this lady hope she recover soon from her sickness.

I just foud out that she's been ill for som time.

  • good singer

  • She seems to have some identity complex.Wants to look and be seen with whites in her videos. One of the best musicians in West Africa.

  • what are you talking about? For one there was only one white lady and a white musician but the rest were black, Please dont put any kind of racist comments on any my videos anymore. Good day!

  • I am sorry you took my comment so hard. It's just a bit hard when I see Africans going through all the trouble to bleach their skin to look like something else. Please don't stop post your wonderful videos.

  • You're right, especially for Malians who should be proud people.

  • Hi adgegbe you have some awsome music and I was wondering if you could send me some it.

    lots of love.

  • She could be bleaching her skin, this is a shame to all Malians.

  • the bleaching isnt jst about the Malians, i mean now u have this stuff going on in most African and Caribbean countries, however West African women (e.g. Senegal, Guinea, Ivory Coast etc...) are the worst ones.

  • How do you know? When I lived there (I came to the United states 4 years ago) I did not see it happening. How do you know this is going on?

  • dont insult us wit that its not all women that do it so you shouldnt say it generaly the ones who do it well its there choice so do not insult the rest of us by sayin that what do you have against africans i noticed you always have insulting comments like this about africans

  • well dear the majority of women bleaching their skin speaks out clearly, only very few dat do nt bleach their skin. this fact is really, the sooner we admit the better really, thus we can deal with the bleaching stuff, we dnt need to b in denial. By the way i know it is their choice, bt dat choice is horrendous, i am african and i dnt insult them, i jst want them to love themselves and stop the bleaching thing really.

  • well look i tdont think u should care about wat they do wit their skin or not u dont sound like u love the fact dat ur african anyways we're here to admire the african music and i dont think u should post things like that about africans just enjoy the music and if u have negative things to say about it that means that u shouldnt watch it

  • i dont care about wht they are doing with their skin, i am saying the facts. u dnt need to be so defensive like that, the bleaching thing is a shameful thing 4 africa ok, so some1 has 2 say something (freedoom of speach) . by the way if u did see my comment about this singer 1 month ago, u should have known that i admire her talent especial this song. i am african, that doesnt mean i have to be in denial...

  • whay all the bleach debate? American women change their hair/skin/body shape, etc every day .. Why should African women be 'stuck' to please another.

  • There's no skin-bleaching here. Each one of the performers except @3:31ff is either mixed blood or naturally fair. Both phenomena are common in Africa. People of the West African Sahel have been in interaction with European and Arab cultures for millenia, and you will find Malians or Tunisians with eye colours other than black or brown or hair sometimes blonde. The naturally fair ones are even more widespread. Go to south-eastern Nigeria and marvel at how fair coastal "forest" Africans can be.

  • @VraiDiouf Shut your mouth negro! How do you know that She is bleaching her skin? I think its a shame that you can sit there and accuse people that you dont even know! "VraiDiouf" u is a fake ass nigga!

  • @Omar9338- negro? are you one of those racist White Americans, if you knew her personally then what is the name of her first song? I think you are a fraud.

  • @VraiDiouf I aint got time for you! stop posting racist remarks "vraidiouf". and oh yeah im black like you. If u gonna say racist remarks about Kandia why do u even listen to her music?

  • @Omar9338 racist? you are the one using the word "negro" and to "shut my mouth". There was nothing racist in what I said. I said "I think she is bleaching her skin" because she was much darker when she made her first album which is true. You are the one acting like a racist.

  • @VraiDiouf I know Kandia personally and for you to say that She is bleaching her skin is absolutely ludacris! Madam Kandia Kouyate is like a mother to me and She is thankful for what God made her to be!

  • @abskeita Shut your mouth with your racist comments. I hate racist people like u. Do u live in New York? I f u do then holla at me. IM A FUCK U UP!

  • @abskeita Bitch ass nigga. How can u say she has white people in her video? That is so racist. White people are a human being just like me and u. We all breath the same air. Think before u speak negro! Those women are lovely whether they are white or black

  • @abskeita I would like to say that black women who whiten their skin is not uncommon in Africa. Withouth being jugemental, I feel confident to say that she seems to have had the intention to conquer some "white countires" where you are likly to sell more if your skin is not too dark. But if is racist to say that the mixed race people are black. What ebout their white heritage?

  • Dandy1085 kandia is not your mother. If she is what is your name and how many sisters n brothers do u have n what r their names? Because i know kandia she's my aunt!
