i went to the premier of this the other night and its not as crappy as it looks...when it starts it looks rubbish but then it gets a lot better.

It looks like the budget was about fifty quid... It looks like it was filmed with a handycam. Why doesnt he release the pilot online and if its good then people will get on board and petition etc.

he decision whether or not to air the new show is based on the number of views and positive fan reaction to them. Make a difference! If we all take the time view the trailers and share them with all of our friends, the new show is sure to take flight!

This looks and sounds great! I've checked out the web-site and can see that the 2006 stuff makes sense. It's interesting that the really great sci-fi shows are those that were considered 'risky' and had problems getting shown - e.g. Firefly/Serenity. Can't wait to see it!

I've seen the full first episode at CULT TV and, take it from me, it is AWESOME. This baby is going to blow Red Dwarf out of the water. British Comedy Sci FI is alive and ready to kick some serious gluteous maximus - and these are the guys that are going to do it.

vintagemovies and darrenhoad - oh ye of little faith. It's not perfect (but then it doesn't need to be) and it is very funny - without being really, cringeworthingly silly. Also the fact that they haven't shown you everything in the trailers is a good thing - the amount of times I've watched a trailer, seen the movie/show and gone "ok so the only decent bits were in the trailer" I can't even begin to remember...

dmental I agree with not showing too much in trailers..but surely they could show SOME dialogue..also after such a long time they need to raise the game and a musical trailer won't do it.

Production values aside, Red Dwarf may have been budgetarily challenged, but still delivered. The essential thing is, it has Claudia. I'd pay just to watch her brush her teeth!

I didn't realise that Suanne Braun was Hathor from SG-1 until someone pointed it out. Her character looks attractively quirky.

We could use a clip with dialogue, though.
