i am a medical professional and i can guarantee you that if healthcare reform passes in it's current form......at least 50% of the physicians in my part of the country will retire, return to their country of origins. we have many of every race, color and creed and refuse to partake in this system.our not because of the money but because of government intervention in the way they treat their patients.they will not be dictated to in the care they give to the patients they truely serve.

If we get socialized healthcare passed we' ll loose some of the best medical professionals in the world due to price controls and governmental regulation. No, you have a staged event of some physicians who support Obama's healthcare overhaul (complete with handed out white coats to impress us that these are 'real' physicians - ever the spin-meister).
It's not representative of physicians as a whole - a recent poll suggests that as many as two-thirds oppose it and nearly half would entertain the idea of calling it quits rather than dealing with the bureaucracy that'd be imposed by his plan. We should dump it & start over for effective reform.

My wife lost her job, 8 months ago. Because she is Black, she cannot find a job. We are one illness away from bankruptsy. The stimulous package reduced our mortgage payments on our home, extended unemployment payments for my wife, and receiving help with electric bill. This is all good, but is not enough!! We need healthcare!

i am a medical professional and i can guarantee you that if healthcare reform passes in it's current form......at least 50% of the physicians in my part of the country will retire, return to their country of origins. we have many of every race, color and creed and refuse to partake in this system.our not because of the money but because of government intervention in the way they treat their patients.they will not be dictated to in the care they give to the patients they truely serve.

The doctors are one of the best reasons to reject socialized healthcare. If we get socialized healthcare passed we' ll loose some of the best medical professionals in the world due to price controls and governmental regulation. Not only will we see some medical professionals retiring early but who would want to go into med school knowing the mess that would be created by socialized healthcare.

Dont understand why some people oppose the health care reform. If you dont like it, you dont have to use it, keep what you have.
As for the less fortunate, why deny them health coverage?

There's a guy down the street that doesn't make much money and doesn't have health insurance. He doesn't want insurance though, he doesn't trust doctors and has lived a happy and healthy life without them. Why should this man of meager means have to pay for you to have something that he wouldn't afford for himself? Worse yet some plans would fine and jail him for not participating in this government nightmare.

Majority of people did have health care even during Bush time. Not all of them got sick enough to use their insurance...so ultimately even then people paid for others sicko. So what news are you giving now?

Na, I work in healthcare field to. the ones they show in Video look like genuine doctors.But to be honest those two docs standing on the presidents sides, I would not want them to treat me.They just don't look like the smart doctors I am used to working with. I am in the cancer field and those docs drive Rolls Royces, know why? Because they are smart as hell and work hard as hell and treat their patients like gold. I look up to those docs as they were Gods.This healthcare bill will destroy this.

Obama, please push through the public option. Only a public option will keep the health insurance companies from abusing us
Americans. Public option = regular health insurance company, but without advertising costs and greedy CEOs. Last year, 1 out of every 700 dollars spent on health insurance went to the CEO of United Healthcare. No more of that crap, and no thanks. We need real change, and we need you to deliver, Mr. Obama. I will actively change my representatives that don't vote for it.

Errol718: I am a Republican who wants Obama to succeed. There are plenty of people who are for reform. Just like primaries bring out the more radical part of political parties these videos do the same. While I do not support all of Obama's policies , a lot of them including health care reform I do.

All of the protests against nationalized healthcare, all of the polls showing the people don't want nationalized healthcare, and all of the townhall meetings filled with citizens screaming that they don't want nationalized healthcare, and this idiot still can't hear the people.
