Dear OM Donald, AC7VX, I too felt happy to see the smile of the kid and I applauded myself with a clap! Sometime we get a pleasant response back, some time we are ridiculed; That's a part of our game :-) It's sort of a jump ahead demo..People watching APRS in a place where they did not even see packet radio. I love to see the look on peoples faces when they see what Ham radio can do. I run an APRS station on our clubs ARRL Field Day and can get a crowd of people around me. The look on the face of the young boy when he saw the APRS message come through was priceless. Good work, see you on DX or APRS some day. 73 de AC7VX
