@TheFacelessBrain yes I race this in dirt, groove, sandy, rug tracks and this thing handles like a dream for me with this setup. But that's just for me, if you're just into B44 now....I know it's recommended for NEW - 4-Poles Castle motors to use 4600 or 5400. If I were you, and new to racing and want to use Castle to power your car, use 4-Pole motors with the new Mamba PRO. CM36 motors are older tech but they're still good of course.
@TheFacelessBrain yes I run this car on dirt with my setup. This setup works for me but alot of people prefer the 5400 kv combo instead of this 6900kv. If you're interested in using Castle's stuff...you should be looking at the new Mamba Max "Pro" series combos with new motors.
@chriss834 why not? it's pretty durable for me, haven't broken a single part yet. Only wearing out tires and a few scratches here and there. It's one of the fastest 1/10 buggies out there
@1carrotcake really? wow i thought these buggies would break if bashed... i guess not... my sc10 broke every time i bashed it! and i dont bash hard at all! so i sold it and bought a bullet proof slash with all rpm! man can this thing take an epic beating and still run!
@chriss834 I was thinking of buying the new upcoming 4X4 SC10, didn't know it's that weak but then again, the new 4x4 sc10 is a complete different design. Slash - yeah, heard it's a pretty fun car to bash around, glad you found something you like and can enjoy!
@1carrotcake oh man! the 4x4 sc10 is sweet! the design is awesome but im not to sure on the belt driven part... i wonder how its going to hold up? anyway... yeah the sc10 4x4 looks very strong! the parts look thicker then slash parts! and yea the slash is awesome! i got a lcg chassis so it runs great! its an sc10 killer now hahaha
@1carrotcake the b44 is almost strictly racing. Theres nothing fast about it, it all depends on the motor you put in it. If you do speed runs why not buy an onroad? with that setup youll probably hit 70.
@sickarmor1 I don't have the luxury and time to invest on on-road cars just to do speed runs. I only like off-roard. This was more like a test run and with this setup, it's FAST so just showing how fast a B44 can go. There is perfectly nothing wrong with an off-road car going fast, to me it is an added bonus and with my B44 setup I do not have any control or not enough torque or temp issues if that your concern. I am not the best driver out there but this thing handles perfectly for me.
Hey Carrot its me PhyTonX from the forum i made a new acc xD thats a sweeeet buggy you got there i finally got the upload wire for my cam so i will upload today am going to my hobby store to pick up some paint finallly so pics will be up in about 3 hours time

Do you race this car on dirt with your mamba setup? i was looking for a power setup that would work well on a track for the b44

is it stock ??
bosa3ad212 10 months ago
@bosa3ad212 - not sure what you meant by stock - it's stock B44 Kit + castle mamba max motor / esc with futaba radio
1carrotcake 10 months ago
@bosa3ad212 these buggies come as kits... they are never really stock because you have to buy your own electronics...
chriss834 9 months ago
Nice! This kit isnt very bash-able is it???

Thats really fast, I dont think mine is anywhere near that.
jbounce 2 years ago
well it really depends on personal preference. One might not like the speed - but I don't care what people say, I can never get enough speed :)
1carrotcake 2 years ago
hey its me from the other b44 video, this car is soo fast! but mine is not built for top speed, its built for the best performance on a clay track
blue2456 2 years ago
yeah I remember you video, your B44 is awesome - nice to hear your setup is nice and balanced for clay surface - keep up the good work! :)

Thanks for checking this out. I am going to make a video of a speed run for my Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 with Mamba Max 5700kv on 3s lipo next.
