There is an amazing service out there Xlink Kai (if you can get it to work) it allows tunneling the wireless signal over the net with other people doing the same thing. I gave up on it due to frustrating lack of reliability, maybe its better now (its been like 8 months since I've been on). Yea, capcom knows how to make a great game, then completely squander its full potential.

@inyourface48 there is something on ps3 called ad-hoc party that allows u to connect ur psp to another to playing ad-hoc games through the ps3's internet.

If you do a search for "mhf2 white fatalis guide" there should be a bow guide and a melee guide right on top of the list. They can be a great help to you. GL
Well, we haven't tried "gunning" him, but if MHF2 is anything like the original MHF, clusters just don't rain death upon the Fatalis quite like you think it would. When we fought the Red Fatalis in MHF, we acutually ran out of time with 3 people, and no victory.
With regard to using a bowgun and cluster 2's - one of the most important elements in a white fatalis battle is where your character is at all times. The recoil from cluster 2's would prove quite a challange in your players positioning. That (among other things) is the beauty of the bow - High mobility at all times. Also, anyone who has used the akantor bow for a while knows - it is one heavy hitter, and one of the most powerful weapons in the game.
With that said, one stray hit from anything he throws at you will most likely result in a K.O. Lightning attacks may have a maximum range, but the top of the tower zone is small enough to keep you within his range almost all the time. And as Urth said, recoil can play a huge factor. If you can't stay mobile, then at some point you will see a bright light, followed by a lightning bolt beaconing you to God's presence :0) We aren't saying it's impossible to gun him, just highly unlikely.
Sad thing is, it still could have been a little faster. Ash forgot power coatings, raided forgot some of the stuff for barrel bomb +'s. And we could have even started with the poison coatings so the full poison durration was maximised. But all in all, it went pretty smooth, and we where happy :0) Thanks for the comment!
