i'm sorry for saying that, Superhero. It's just that i'm a huge suporter of the movment with dreams of joining the likes of Pheonix Jones and Britain's own Angle-Grinder Man. And it just makes me so angry to see ignorant comments like that. Still, by the sounds of it, what with the pro wrestling background and the tv show, your an obvious veteran od the rlsm. one question. do you have ANY episodes of the show on you?
I wanna be like super man, I want to be mistaken for a bird, or a plane and be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. I want to be faster than a speeding bullet and more powerful than a locomotive.
im gonna ask this, do you do any actuall crime fighting? im sure u mite do some, but have u actually saved some1, im not trying to offend you, i think what you do is great, im just asking tbh
@ilikemunting No offense taken. Camp is what it's all about to me, I grew up with Adam West on tv, not Christian Bale. I'm instantly recognized as being there to help, I don't get cop harrassed like the many who do this in black. And it's proven that Black doesn't really conceal you all that well anyway.Pastels actually do! The only reason the F-117 & B-2 are black is because some AF Gen. said "Men don't fly pastel planes!" And I pride myself on being "Silver age" like my comic role models are.
(If your super-self is way too far on the fantasy world, then the real life gets out of the picture). So (finally) my question is: dont you think that the hero and civil persona must be on equal terms to function on a higher level of effectiveness? In other words (even if you are a superhero on real life) wouldn`t be wiser to improve first your civil background (your secret identity, if you like) to make a better SUPERHERO and not the other way around?
@jaiman2050 IF I'm following you, what I think you're saying is sharpen your "self" pefore you try to become a Superhero? Yes I agree. I was grooming myself for this for years and didn't even realize it. I'll PM you about how.
I`ve heard that the hero persona must be a better version of yourself, one that improves in whatever flaw one have.(thats the way I saw it) For example: if you lack confidence then use your alter-ego to find that inner strength missing. I do respect that but, I have this hypothesis that: the effectiveness and credibility of a RLSH depends on how much distance between the civil persona and hero persona has.
so. What would you think will be the next step for RLSH now that it seems that must have achieved some degree of status and stability? will we see an evolution of the movement soon????
@jaiman2050 ; That's a good question, I don't have a good answer. :) a LOT has happened since this was shot. Teamjustice has Official tax exempt status now. (see youtube teamjusticeinc) so yeah we are more official all the time!
@jaiman2050 : That has actually been discussed. we have Ground fighters, karate & Kung Fu guys Even Pro-Wrestlers! so event like that for a cause has been batted about a little.
Yup. I get it. They are an extension of the human condition. its only logical for a government as fucked up as ours for the people to take a stand and help each other. Its about love.
But your not a super hero, just a person that does good deeds. Not saying it's a bad thing, just saying a superhero is someone with super powers, which don't exist.
Actually there are plenty of Comic Book superheroes that don't have powers. Punnisher, Kick Ass & Trantula come to mind off the top of my head and every character in the watchmen. The reason these people call themselves Superheroes is to express the ideal of good I think. It doesn't really have anything to do with the powers. what Bothers me is when they want to model themselves after characters who are dark & Dismal. It says wierd things about their personalities. O_o
gizmo-duck?! yea his secret suit was activated by saying the words blathering batherskite. plus even without the suit he could count really really fast.
X3 I can't believe its taken me this long to discover real life super heroes! You guys are fantastic. Keep active, fight for justice and all that goodness!
i actually have no beef with the Scientologists, when I patrol around Ft.Harrison I keep a eye on them & make sure they aren't being mugged & such. They deserve help like anybody else. I stop 7 talk to them on occasion, they seem cool.
During anonymous rallies they get video taped and harassed, as you can see on Xenutv. Its the church hierarchy, not really laity who cause the trouble. In all likely hood simply being around would help stop the violence. If you want to learn more read Hubbard Messiah or madman and look at Xenutv, along with the OT papers which I believe are on Wikipedia. I understand your point- the common Scientology doesn't cause trouble, but I still think I have a point.
Go for it brother, figure out what being a superhero means to you. we all do it a little differently. then once you figure out how to make a difference somehow. Go for it.
