I have the Black Widow Pearl and I love it!!! It's my baby Lol :) I recomend it for its quality. It's a wonderful ball. I'm still not sure about the Venom. I believe the ball quality and drilling is definitly important but if the bowlers not good then the ball is useless. The person in the video is definitly experienced so I'll have to do more research. I've been bowling for 9 years and i definitly recomend the Pearl :)

I carry a 199 average with the "Too Hot" by storm. I bought this ball and first game after drilling was a 266. It took 2 frames to get it figured out and then struck out. I followed it with a 245 and 235.

Their is an exclusive bowling ball called "The Chalk" made by Hammer and is white and grey, it is a nice ball. Since they only made 700 of them in the world, not everyone can get it. So, soon they are coming out with a ball called "THE WHITE WIDOW" It will be the same thing as "The Chalk"

personally i liked this ball, i shot 300 and 817 with it but it didnt hook nearly as much as hammer made it sound like but i personally think that storm makes the best balls out there i just got this ball because its cheaper through the university

out of all the black widows i think i like the bite better because my high series wit it is a 702 and my best with the other is 609 bite has better snap on any lane condition for me for some reason and im only 14! and i use a 16 pound ball

u dont need all that weight thats why your sets are lower u will shoot 50 to 65 pins higher i was the same way until a pro suggested i go down in weight from 16 to 14.9 pounds my accuracy increased and i left less 10 pins...........

I have been bowling with a Roto-Grip Rush for two years- highest series was a 450. I bought a Hammer Black Widow Venom and first series out of the box was a 420!!! So, I am kinda partial to the Hammer Venom, highly aggressive and it creates awesome pin-smashing action! Hope this helps!

i had the tornado, its pretty weak unless u surface it way down to grip the lane. i just got my venom like 2 weeks ago and i rolled 233-237-238 right out of the box. highest score of the year with the tornado was 220 so the venom does wonders

my layout of my BWV im not sure what it is, but it has nowhere near the hook it should have, the HMB is to the left of the thumb, and the two dots(yellow and the small white circle are at the 11 oclock and 7oclock positions on my ring finger(i throw left handed) is this supposed to be an agressive layout or is this tailored for a slight hook?

at 3:11 if you move about 2-3 boards right and about 3-4 inches towards the lane on the approach. it will carry those 10 pins. or sometimes its the same thing on moving except u might have to move back towards the bowlers area. it hits pocket but moving back gives the ball more time to roll. and moving up towards the lane will save some of the balls power and turn it into more carry when the ball hits.

Get the cell. I had a black widow venom and the curve dies out after about 18 games. Better off buying the cell. Its also newer too.

in my opinion it depends on the type of line you play. if u throw a larger hook then you would want the cell because it reads the lane earlier. if you play a tighter line then you would want the venom because it will roll down the lane and the snap into the pocket.

The Venom, BWP, and the Bite have an extremely nice reaction i would recomend them. I bowl with a Bite and i love it. I also find this to be the most forgiving ball i own as well

dude. i went through the same problem. no joke. if your wanting a ball that will hook with a lot of speed. the only ball that i would find that would do that is the Storm Fired Up. it is a pearlized ball that hooks the most out of any ball ive ever thrown.i put a lot of speed on the ball but i got rid of it though because i got my speed down and i only throw hammer now.

I've got a Pearl and the original Black Widow. The Pearl has very little ball deflection once it gets around the corner and headed to the pocket. I noticed the Venom # 1 has a lot of ball deflection. The # 2 layout is much better but look out for those 9 pins. My Pearl leaves them on solid pocket hits. It blows through the rack.
