Such warm and wonderful memories this brings back. I survived a severely abusive home because I had very caring friends who, in addition to be good company, could play & sing! I couldn't so I was the audience. Many great evenings passed filled with positive upbeat songs like this. Peace & Love, Bread & Justice for All.

great stuff. moving. cat stevens was brilliant. somehow these old 70s tunes have a lot more soul than the new music these days. why is that? coldplay and radiohead aren't too shabby though...

Yea. It quite a shame. I just turned 16 some days ago but in spite of that my favorite artists is guys like Clapton, Knopfler and Cat Stevens. I doubt any of the rising new bands will ever produce music with a unic and beatiful sound. Much of todays music sounds very very similar. Sadly.
