  • @mymorningvodka Yes, but that's life, it should be very hard to keep all together for very long time, everybody has his own responsability in what happened, but... that normal. as we miss certain feelings of certains moments of our lives, and they are impossible to be repeted, maybe one day they'll come back together, maybe I'll see them live again together, maybe they'll do new cool music maybe not, it will be cool anyway, but I won't be again 15 years old as when I saw them in Bologna.

  • gerard way of mcr=billy corgan?

  • @archgamrs nope, both diferent, both great

  • Comment removed

  • @archgamrs Very different, yet brilliant, men. They do look kind of similar, but not by much.

  • whaaa awesomeeeeeeee. whooo is gonna built a time machine w/ mehhh?

  • I'm impressed with how good Smashing Pumpkins is live. Sure, it's fast, but most bands play songs faster live. They're good; don't knock it.

  • I prefer it slower.

  • the video is professional but the audio sounds like a bootleg someone recorded from the crowd.

  • I love this song but sometimes I'm scared of it..... can't find out the reason)))

  • God Smashing Pumpkins are Horrible Live... good show horrible Quality .... why do people focus on this live JUNK.

  • they allways get real hot bassists

  • @MultiMusicvids and that's alright, just check her she hot

  • @nicholsjoshua15 I loved Machina the day it came out! It's way underrated!

  • @twcatube Same, I loved Machina I and II. Zeitgeist had its ups and downs, and Teargarden by Kaleidoscope so far has been pretty good.

  • @nicholsjoshua15, I appreciate them now...

  • they look bored..

  • all the old songs sound almost identical to the old pumpkins. i think when people say they miss james and darcy the just miss the feeling the band had back then.

    which was completely different now.

he was a arrogant prick and pushed all his band mates away. 10 years of pumpkins down the hole because of him

its painful to see billy up there now. the shell of a once true rock star

  • @mymorningvodka Just asking, can you please tell me why the drummer left? You can message me, I'm really curious...

  • @mechapakmei kicked out by billy for having a very bad drinking problem

  • @ncwrrn2009 Thank you.

  • @mymorningvodka, anyway Billy is the soul of SP, and he is just like that, he change in any album the rules of his music, he's an experimenter, never satisfied, always serching something else, always following a way, that brings him always somewhere different, and brings us with them. that's honorable. Many bands stuck in a gender and they become the clones of themselves in every new album, he does no. And, he's a human as everybody, with his waves of good creativity & less good, as everybody :)

  • @mymorningvodka - This is great music! The previous 10 years is so ... last decade.

  • just aint the same with out d'arcy and james...

  • thats not d'arcy. lame

  • wow !!!

  • I have listened to Smashing Pumpkins since Gish and just saying Billy...faster is not necessarily better. I guess you're getting tired of this and want the show over?

  • You may have listened to them since gish but you must not be a musician. There is a high level of energy in the crowd, which tends to pump up the people playing causing them to play faster. Everybody is faster live.

  • I've played guitar for 14 years. I'm just going to go ahead and say it...Billy is acting like a world class prick these days. Testifying before congress on music piracy? What a fucking sell out. Didn't he release Machina II for free download? Now, was that because he was "listening to the fans" or because the band was fast becoming a commercial failure with D'arcy gone? Well, the Metallica-ish penguin-suited sellout speech cemented it for me. Billy just wants the money.

  • C'mon, He's releasing Teargarden by Kaleidoscope--which has 44 songs-- for free! That renders your statement false.

And, D'arcy was great and all, but the Pumpkins can easily exist without her without losing any of it's integrity. That's not an insult to her, but Billy Corgan has always been more of a "lead singer" than just a "vocalist". As long as he remains, the Smashing Pumpkins remain.

  • @thisxgreatxdecay lol have you heard any of the songs yet? they are all shite compared to any SP era, im sorry to say it but its true and i dont need to be a famous rockstar to know what i would pay money for at the end of the day.

Sp SUCK now, the only good songs were a couple off the acoustic set like mama and if all goes wrong. Its such a shame, believe me it upsets me that i have to remember them the way they were compared to now.

all the new guys are great players, but its not good enough

  • @TheLydianRocks

I think Zeitgeist had some pretty good songs. Teargarden's also great so far.

The only post-reunion songs I dislike are That's The Way, FOL, and Widow Wake My Mind. Other than that, everything's solid.

And one post-reunion song entitled Gossamer is quite possibly one of his greatest songs ever.

But I guess we disagree, which is okay. Some folks want to hear a 90s band, other people want to hear a band that constantly evolves.

If you like the acoustic stuff, try American Gothic.

  • @thisxgreatxdecay no disrespect but trying to act as though im wanting to hear a 90s band over a band that evolves is waffle, i have no problem hearing a band evolve, but if they evolve into shit and dont have the brains to atleast keep the old stuff alive then they deserve whatever they get. a good song is timeless, i dont listen to chopin and think about the date it was written, i just want to hear the pumpkins again, not a bunch of people who sound nothing like the pumpkins always did

  • Comment removed

  • @thisxgreatxdecay Psh, it's not like he's going to go poor just for putting out two albums nobody liked for free.

  • Ok, you played guitar for 14 years, whoohoo (Moves on) You know who else are sellouts? Led Zeppelin (Rock and Roll was used in a Cadelac commercial) Moby's play was everywhere when it was released, because Moby liscensed that album hella. I love that album though. My point is - whether you like a band or not, some of them end up being sellouts - I don't care if you like the Pumpkins or not. Just don't see why people need to bitch about these things, famous artists do this - All the time.

  • Besides thoughtplacebo ... D'arcy Still owes Billy 50 bucks *chuckles*

  • One more thing. Billy is accually trying to look forward, not go back. He won't play a string of his old nostalgic hits, but he has done things like use his old hits to promote his new music - and for good reason brother. Billy has practically sold his soul to Rock N Roll, and I believe he's a true hero. Everything he has done ... never dissapointed me. He deserves respect and credit, because he was a visionary, one of the only real rockstars I have ever known.

  • just as awesome live

    guitar solos cool too 1:06

  • crowd: "WANNA GO FOR A RIDE!!!"

  • i love you ginger reyes!!! <3

  • that bass player is HOTT. lol

  • hahahaha IHA

  • can't belive it...

  • goddd i miss d'rcy , chamberlin and iha

  • chamberlin is still the drummer!

  • No, just Corgan atm

  • That sucks!!

  • Yeah, good to dream about a full reunion though ;]

  • no man he is not he make a proyect alone and sp are looking for a new drummer i just corgan now :(

  • Is it me or is played at a slightly faster tempo then the original Zero? maybe just me but still awesome

  • it's not you, it's really faster. i love this version, i love their songs played quicker for some reason. just seems more energetic i guess.

just wouldnt work for like, mayonaise or today very well

  • for mayonaise or today i think they would slow it down, i think thats what they usally do for live shows

  • Nah, it's played faster. I noticed that too at first.

  • pumpkins rock

  • how could you have been at this concert when you claim it was at the Fox Theatre in Detroit? It plainly says that this concert was in Grand Rex, Paris.

  • Dude i was There TOO Michigan Bro 3rd row form the front Fuck Yeah Pumpkins

  • I love this<3 No one's cover can top the pumpkins

  • jeff's solo was so dimebag here!

    rip to brotha dimebag..

    anyway, smashing pumpkins forever!

  • one of the best smashing pumpkins songs of all time.

  • Holy Schroeder!

God damn I love that guy.

  • Me to

  • I'm a sucker for live performances that include the crowd singing a line for the band (0:38)

  • assshole

  • =SSSS, LOL

  • it did rule but nothing beats the original

  • fuck you

  • obvious troll is obvious

  • get a grip to yourself!! nobody sings a song better than who wrote it!!

  • case in point Amy Lee of Evanescence.

  • hey, i see u like smashing pumpkins why don't u check my channel i've got some vids. about them!!

  • go get a life you fucked up emo fucktard!

  • Yeah I don't know why this didn't go under the "Case in point Amy Lee of Evanescence" because I agree Personaljesus348.

  • adoro esta cancion y en vivo son geniales♥ XD!!!

  • Pumpkins is my favorite band, but I didn't like a lot of the stuff after Mellon Collie... well, some of the newer stuff's alright, but their best album was Siamese Dream.

  • my thoughts exactly

  • I just figured out this year that my favorite Pumpkins album is Machina. It might happen to you too someday...And bald Billy could beat up hairy Billy anyday.

  • yesss machina was the shit.... took some time to grow on me.. but then i realized my favorite songs were from this album and were almost all of the songs on it

  • Siamese Dream is my least favorite album. It has some good songs, but doesn't convey their thoughts as well as their albums.

  • Sorry i hate to do this and actual never do but if ur least favorite album is Siamese Dream then u obviously havent gave it a chance or listen to it all the way through cause its amazing. the album tells a story if u pay attention. just listen to Today-Hummer-Disarm and u got the story. but Mayonnaise is the greatest song EVER! end of subject than Zero. lol

  • Siamese doesn't really tell a story as much as Mellon Collie - Machina II do. I said I like the songs. I take that back. Parts of songs. Like the opening and solo of Soma, live versions of Silverfuck (especially during the Mellon Collie era), the bridge in Rocket, etc. I have heard better studio cuts of all the songs on Siamese Dream. And they left great songs like Set The Ray To Jerry out which would have made the album much better in my opinion. Anyways, Zero fucking rocks. The end.

  • I think "Adore" is their most haunting album. I love the trip-hop sound they were injecting into their music. I always thought the retreat from that in "Machina" was unfortunate. "Machina" simply sounded like a retread to me. "Siamese," "Melancholy," and "Adore" are the big three for me.

  • This sounds really good. Esecially sped up. I love how Billy points to the crowd and the response is "Wanna go for a ride?"

  • ooohhhh yeaaahhhh!!!!!!! 1:40!!!!! scream it billy! scream it!

  • Little ginger looks like a frog, I wonder if that had an influence on the band's decision to hire her.

  • she is beautiful.

  • A talented aborable Frog mind you :)

  • billy has an odd shaped head

    p.s... THEY FUCKIN' RAWK!

  • 1:38!! buen solo

  • geeez they certainly speed this song up live dnt they!!!

    AWSOME

  • Great song, smash!

  • intoxicated with the madness,im in love with my sadness.............woooohooooo

  • Aye, a bit fast ain't it.

  • they always play it fast live.

  • that guy scares me

  • that was an awesome live version..would've died to see the re-union gig.

  • the new bassist is hotter than the last one.

  • that's so true

  • god, sure nearly all songs are faster live :P

  • 20 second faster than the original

  • lol, how long did it take to figure that one out?:P i think that this is better than the album one though. not the audio quality, its not great, but ive seen it live, its immense. faster deffinitley suits it better

  • what effect did billy use for the solo?

    Smashing Pumpkins rule!!!!

  • Phase Shifter

  • Really? Sound slike a whammy. Or is a whammy a type of phase shifter? Sorry if i sound like a *erhem* n00b, I'm not that bad really XD

  • billy wasnt playing the solo

  • Harmonizer

  • its toooooo fast(thats wat u get when u replace ppl with new ppl i guess)

  • if its too fast its the drummers fault, and he's not new

  • Zero has always been played faster live, even with James and D'arcy

  • indeed

  • oh yeah! i love it when billy screams his ass off. i wish james was still there though. dont get me wrong jeff is a good guitarist but i think james is better

  • damn..its weird seeing billy older...i always remembered him as a young kid

  • yeah he looked young when infinite sadness was released...

  • emptiness

  • yyyeeaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! nice to hear ol jeff can bring alittle of the old pumpkin sound back...Pumped to hear them in Nashville!!!!

  • It's good to hear the original version of this song once again after listening to Evanescence fuck it up.

  • fuck yeah!

  • I thought I saw James Iha on a clothing Commercial lol O_O!!!

It looked exactly like him,but it can't because it was a girl

  • seeing them in 1 month and i'm hoping with all my heart they play this (and muzzle). i think this is a perfect way too play it. angry and energetic.

  • ahahha "angry and energetic"

  • this song is about 1000x better at normal speed

  • damn, this is way too fast :/

  • not if it's live... fuck... it gets you SSOO pumped up...i thought i was going to pass out from the adrenaline rush type of feeling you get when you jump and sing along...fuckin awesome...not saying the normal speed isnt good...but it's fun live

  • corgan could've done much better

    this isn't a good preformance

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!

This had to be one of the best performances for this song ever

  • love it love it :))) best song :) my skype name is ZERO lol :D (rock)

  • I love this song!

    I'm your lover...i'm your ZeR0

  • not bad at all! but SP isn't the same without James Iha and D'Arcy but no disrespect to the new members

  • i think ginger's kinda ugly.. O_o Lisa's hot tho

  • wrong.

  • Fucknig rock yeargh! Ginger is so hot aswell, just wishing i was there headbanging away.

  • 00:42 Omg, I'm in love.

  • Oops, I meant 00:32.

    Or 00:13 to 00:15. Or 00:23 to 00:27.

    Hehe.

  • WHooaa "WANNA GO FOR A RIDE!"

  • All hail ! Things are looking up for SP i guess

  • I love this song!

  • quien es la actual bajista??

  • their best song, better slowly.

  • i like how the song is at a faster pace

  • james was a better guitarist, and the new bass is like just as good as d'arcy and about as hot, but it wud have been cool to have all the pumpkins bak, exept for darcy cuz shes like totally messed up now

  • D'arcy is fine, shes living a normal, quiet life on a horse ranch or something now. After that coke incident she pretty much dropped off the face of the planet.

  • is billy bald? becuase his head never has any speckle.

  • As I've said - The Smashing Pumpkins are back and the new album is POWERFUL and WONDERFUL, if you don't like it go sink into your old high school gym shorts and jerk-off to your yearbooks!

  • the album is loud and a couple bars below the worst original pumpkins album .....yes your right!!

just cause back together doesn't meen its great. so i think you spent to much time with your hand in your gym shorts. and no i will not be looking at your reply.

  • I absolutely agree with interpol...i like that that they are loud, but the new songs have very little melody. I wish/hope Billy decides to inject some of his groove in the next album instead of relying on 40 overdubed guitar tracks that sound like, well, 40 overdubbed guitar tracks on each song...without sounding like anything.

  • i second that...

  • wanna see a drug dealer get busted? check out my video.

  • I really do like Ginger Reyes on bass. I think she is beautiful and a really good addition to the band.

  • thank you bro for writing this

  • no problem. Just spreading knowledge.

  • if you dont mind me asking what was the comment saying that you replied to?

  • sorry just being random.

  • For some odd reason Ginger reminds me of D'arcy but whatever I think that the new guitarist is pretty hott.

What's the name of the new guitarist anyway?

  • The new guitarist's name is Jeff Schroeder,

personally Ginger reminds me of D'Arcy cause thats how D'Arcy always stood on stage next to the mic on it

  • Bill... are you ever gonna admit that you and Courtney Love were banging when she was married to Kurt Cobain.

  • Darcy is hotter? have you seen her lately?

  • hell yea!!!

  • fucking epic

  • I love this song even more at the faster tempo.

  • Still a die hard pumpkins fan, even saw zwan and the solo tour....it's just not the same without James and D'arcy.

  • I don't mind the new guys, but i miss darcy and james so fucking much...

  • I would have liked James Iha back instead of the new guy. I can live without D'arcy (I think Ginger is hotter)

  • I miss James :'(

  • The new bassist is hot. But darcy is hotter

  • how fuckin weird

  • this sounds great.
