  • the reason they ran grayson outta town. he called everyone on their bullshit. the establishment doesnt like that. i want a Ron Paul/ Alan Grayson president ticket in 2012!!!!! lets unite in liberty against the banks and corporations!!!

  • Boy.... I dont understand a wurd you jus sayud.............. "republican response..." See Napoleon Dynamite.....

  • anyone pushing the constitution in government will quickly be cast out. American people have traded the constitution for sports, entertainment, media, and marketing. You have been sold a bill of goods, and force fed propaganda, and detest-fully smiled while ingesting it. You have turned your backs on the one true living GOD and will start to reap what you have sown. praise the country that has heroes, pity the country that needs them.

  • Thank god this guy is out of the congress, he made our entire country look bad, atleast he had the decency to make is political career "die quickly".

  • Paul Broun is an ignorant cunt. Period.

  • Any1 else think that candidates for Congress have to pass a "Knowledge of the Consitution" exam be4 being considered?

  • Alan Grayson should be President of The United States of America !

  • sounds like the guys is reading the bill for the first time when Grayson asks him "what is it ?"

I love how Grayson doesn't yield anything ! Rock on Grayson !

  • Grayson lost. Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!

  • Gosh I love this Grayson ! What a patriot ! You fools in Florida, you should have given him a second term ! Shame on you for voting in some republican shill who values corporations and global investors over the interests of Americans! Obama should give him a cabinet position or make him secretary of the press and just let Grayson kick ass 24/7 for him! Why doesn't that jerk from Georgia answer the freakin' question ! I know why he's a dishonest lying shill working for lobbyists and not USA

  • Lol @ your Democrat talking point nonsense. Grayson is an idiot who doesn't respect the Constitution. The federal government does NOT have the right to force people to buy private health insurance. Lol @ "for the people."

  • Comment removed

  • as i have said time and time gain, alan grayson is a real politican who cares about the people, not to play the games in the political arena

  • Paladins can't wear the Helm of Disintegration :o

  • Grayson cares about the Constitution? Lol. Then why does he support the CLEARLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL healthcare mandate? Dickhead.

  • Look, the real american gangsters....they still bleed like everyone else, ya know.....

  • first of all, what are they referring to that this has any use in the discussion?

This has been taken way out of text and makes Congressman Broun look like he does not know what it is. but I bet that this does not apply to what they are trying to discuss that is why it caught him off guard. It seems that the Grayson is just trying to be an AS S. I bet he is a Democrat. Since he is trying to give a classroom lesson. It is a JOKE! That is why nothing gets done.

  • @sneakylizard1 Yes he is a Democrap and he is no longer a congressman. He was voted out in 2010 after serving one term. Why did he only serve one term? Because he is a dickhead. He doesn’t give two drops of piss on top of a tird about the constitution… he supported obama-care.

  • will the gentleman yield? NO the other gentleman needs to stfu!

  • Can see why GOP wanted Alan Grayson out of the way. It is also why Americans need to watch more of these proceedings to see what their representatives are up to and whom they are serving. The house will repeal the health care changes but the senate will uphold it. With all the hoopla about health care what you don't hear is the record profits the HMO's are making. Wonder how many HMO lobbyist will it take to write the GOP version.

  • What a kick as guy! I want this Alan as president.

  • Schooled.

  • I miss Grayson already. I really wanted to watch him take on some of the teabaggers that are going to be appointed to some of these committees. He needs to try and run again.

  • Grow up, and stop calling them "teabaggers," you fucking moron.

  • @Edgehead10075 Fist yourself! They're the ones that started calling themselves that. They were just to stupid to realize the landmine they walked on. They are branded "teabaggers" for life and the fact that it bothers you makes it all the more fun. They should grow up and stop dressing in stupid costumes, wearing teabags on their hats, and screaming about birth certificates!

  • They didn't know what it meant when they called themselves that; you DO know what it means. It shows a lack of civility.

  • @Edgehead10075 Yeah, I do. What that shows is that I would think ahead about what I would say before I say it. Unlike these social fucktards. Of course I'm gonna ridicule them! Stupidity shouldn't be met with civility. It should be mocked and attacked viciously. That's the REAL problem with this country. There's not enough people like me that would call out people for saying stupid things. Everyone wants to be nice. I'm not going to be nice to these jackasses! They're teabaggers!

  • @Edgehead10075 How about we stop calling them teabaggers when you stop saying "ObamaCare" and call it the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. They're all teabaggers, the lot of them.

  • Whatever happened to "Dissent is patriotic"?

  • @Edgehead10075

Only if it's against the Democrats is it Patriotic in the minds of the Teabaggers.

  • People who say "teabagger" are childish.

  • @Edgehead10075

People who say "Obamacare" are ignorant.

  • Not really. There's no comparison between saying that and saying "Teabagger." If you're proud of Obamacare, you shouldn't see calling it that as an insult.

  • @Edgehead10075

Except it's used as pejorative, in every sense of the word.

  • It's the law that he signed, so what's wrong with calling it that?

  • @Edgehead10075

Because that's not the name of the bill. It's pejorative given to it by people who oppose it in an effort to poise it as some Socialist take over of healthcare under President Obama's name. If you were an adult, you would call it it's name. It was never called "Obamacare" by the President, anywhere at all.

  • Maxine Waters says "Teabagger," and she's the most stupid person in Congress. If you agree with her on anything, you're an idiot.

  • @Edgehead10075

Actually they called themselves Teabaggers first. Ever since they had that townhall where people were wearing Tea Bags hanging from a hat.

  • They didn't know it's other meaning, but you do. It's childish to call them that when you know what the term means.

  • @Edgehead10075

They didn't know it's other meaning? How do you even know how old I am? Are you assuming because I know what 'Teabagging" is means that I'm young?

    What a BS excuse.

  • I'm sure that most older people don't know what it means.

  • @Edgehead10075

    Again, BS excuse.

  • What is a BS excuse?

As far as "Obamacare" goes, who's being insulted by that term?

  • @Edgehead10075

Did you just blatantly ignore my last post addressing this?

Oh, and the President is, because they're saying that he's a Socialist (LOL @ people who claim this, should probably understand what Socialism is first), and that he's trying to take over the Health Care industry.

  • I actually don't agree that Obama is a socialist, at least not according to the strictest definition of the term. However, he can be considered a socialist if you go by broader definitions. He is certainly expanding government.

I'd feel much better if there was a law guaranteeing that there would be no rationing of healthcare under the new healthcare law.

Anyway, calling Obama a "socialist" is different than just saying "Obamacare." At least we're not calling him names by saying "Obamacare."

  • @Edgehead10075

    Except that you are.

You DO realize that words have deeper meanings than the actual definition, right?

  • What we're saying is that we don't like parts of or all of the healthcare bill that he signed. It would be childish if we called it "Obozocare."

I agree that everyone who wants health insurance should get it, but there are parts of the law that are wrong.

  • @Edgehead10075 are there enough parts of obama care wrong that it makes the current system a better choice???? I would say that the negatives for keeping the current healthcare system FAR OUTWEIGH the negatives of passing obamacare.

  • Why not the third option of passing different reform?

  • @Edgehead10075 if your looking for reform that will work alongside capitalism then you wont find one. you cant have your cake and eat it too. you either want the medical field to be free market or you want a government run one...the free market idea COULD work, if the people at the top only wanted 1 or 2 cars and houses but the greed has run wild and they want 5-6 houses and cars, that type of greed can only be circumvented by the american government giving a public option to compete with.

  • I actually support a public option, and I wish that the Republicans would change their mind on that. I think that forcing people to buy health insurance on the federal level is unconstitutional, but it would be fine if each state did that. Also, can we legally ensure that there will be no rationing of healthcare?

  • @Edgehead10075

And the BS excuse is your BS attempt to act like Tea Baggers didn't know what it meant when they used it. You would assume the first day someone laughs at them they'd go "Mmm...maybe I should see what's so funny"

Or perhaps I'm giving them too much credit.

  • Why woud someone call himself a teabagger if he knows what it means?

  • @Edgehead10075

Otherwise it's treason. Like how it was treasonous to question the Bush Administration about Iraq during the actual war.

  • I've heard you libs make that argument over and over again, but why don't you actually name a person who said it was treasonous to question Bush?

  • @Edgehead10075

Uhh...Glenn Beck is one. Rush Limbaugh is another.

And their legion of sheep are the rest.

  • Can you prove that Beck and Rush said it? BTW, Beck and Rush aren't GOP politicians. (They're actually musical acts, lol.) I'd care a lot more if a Republican in Congress or Bush himself had said that.

  • @Edgehead10075

How about when Dick Cheney said he identified with Rush Limbaugh's political ideology? Also, you're really just dismissing someone who has millions of fans?

  • Did Cheney ever say that people who opposed the war in Iraq were unpatriotic, though?

Rush Limbaugh has a lot of listeners and money, but he's still irrelevant. He doesn't speak for conservatives or the GOP.

  • @Edgehead10075

    Yes, he did.

  • Can you prove it? If he did, then I'll admit that he's an asshole, which most people seem to think he is anyway.

  • You guys LOST, and your lack of civility certainly helped us.

  • Are you kidding me? He is such an idiot! A bill of attainder is a bill that applies to an induvidual or entity, ussually to inflict punishemnt, However, a Congress that can giveth can taketh away. I cannot believe this joke is actually trying to say that refocusing spending priorities and cutting spending is unconstitutional. This joke is exactly where he belongs: unemployed.

  • @bmf1706

    1st. You are wrong.

2nd. You are ranting about politics your spelling insinuates you can not possibly comprehend. Not to mention the politician who he was speaking to literally HAD NO CLUE WHATSOEVER.

3rd. If you go as far as to say "He is in idiot." I'd assume you to be intelligent enough to provide backing evidence, which you have not. So basically you are talking to hear yourself talk.

Everyone wants to be heard, very seldom do they have anything pertinent to say.

  • Comment removed

  • @mugenmultiverse Right! Alan Grayson for President!

  • He called It A Bill of attainder. And that just what the bill was. Trial by Legislation. It's interesting to also note Grayson read the federalist papers and knew his job much better than The Hor. Mr. Brown. He'll run again, and come back. It's just a matter of time till The members of the Tea Party realize their corporate Masters have Lied to them.

  • the video cuts off at a crucial point

  • President? he just got kicked out of office! BYE BYE GRAYSON!

  • Grayson. A true American hero, unlike fakes like mccain.

  • You Americans are brain dead fucking ice plants! Why did you vote this man out you morons?

  • @deeppurple28 Ask Florida. It wasn't all of us.

  • will the gentleman yield? no...will the gentleman yield? no....will the gentleman yield...no LOL =D

  • Another republican fool outted by Grayson. Sad thing is republicans are too stupid to be embarrassed by this.

  • Maybe "the gentleman from Georgia" is a corporate stooge who doesn't give a damn about the constitution.

  • democrats throughout legislative history suggest bills of attainder, what a disingenuous idiot. He sounds smart because he is RUDE, and now sent back to florida in 2011. Truth of the matter is the Appeals court ruled this was NOT unconstitutional ACORN had no standing as Congress has power to control funds and can reverse funding that is granted. DUMMY

  • @ASentinel2

your style of argument clearly shows to which party u must belong

  • Hell yea Alan. Tell it as it is, like it is, for us the people will be behind you. Because there is truth that can only be brought to light by bullying and mean-mugging those who hide it. Strike fear, because if u ever made it to Presidental status. I would surely vote for u.

  • Grayson your the man rather a DEM or REPU this is what the country needs... Kick all the career politician out now

  • Grayson is waking up rather quick. Can this country be saved?

  • @EMPIRE0FLIES

No unfortunately not without going through a massive economic collapse first.

But a few Congressmen like Grayson and Paul are trying to stem the tide.

  • @Yeuxvert I must agree. I will be glad to stand in a breadline so long as Grayson or Paul is President or VP.

  • Grayson for Pres 2016!

  • Rep. Alan Grayson graduated from Harvard and hates corruption - he's a lion in a room full of cockroaches.

  • A bill of attainder is a piece of legislation declaring someone has committed a crime and setting out a punishment. As far as I know, this is a bill to defund a private organization. Hence, not a bill of attainder.

  • @dennis345 Grayson was correct that the bill being discussed was a bill of attainder. He rose and defended the constitution. Whatever faults you may find in Grayson, you have to grant him that he was right on this one.

  • @knowledgemonger I admire Grayson very much, particularly his fearlessness. He was outstanding on Paul's bill to audit the Fed. But I don't see how this is a bill of attainder. I'd like to hear your thoughts on precisely why it is. I don't want to cling to my own view if it's wrong.

  • @dennis345 The bill as written at the time of the video: (1) Was specifically targeted at ACORN. and (2) forbade them from receiving any further federal money.

    (1) Is quite obvious on the face.

    (2) Is the punishment part and is a little harder to see as being literally punishment by definition. Forbidding companies that have been found guilty of fraud from doing further business has been used as punishment in the past so the governments own actions are the definition.

  • @knowledgemonger Thanks, I see your point. As to the targeting issue, mere de-funding cannot be called "targeting." Otherwise, Congress could never de-fund anyone. But when it happens in conjunction with a prohibition on future funding, well, that starts to smell like punishment. Undoubtedly, the Repubs pursued that part because they don't like ACORN's ideological agenda. Defund ACORN, drop the prohibition, and let a future Congress decide if it wants to fund them again.

  • @dennis345 Yes, the reason that ACORN was singled out is because they tend to register far more democrats than republicans. It is a bit of an odd thing when you think about it but the very well educated and informed tend to be democrats and the poor also. The republican party is largely in the gap in the middle and the rich. Both have split groups.

  • Where is Grayson's video of our meeting where I cornered him on the Health Care Bill when I caught him in several lies? Or when I asked if he would sign a statement to be on the same healthcare as the rest of us like he said he would be, he freaked out and demanded I leave. I didn't, he did. I guess his Harvard degree was no match for common sense. He truly showed his mental instability that day!

  • that is great work exposing those lies.

  • I am ashamed to be represented by Paul Broun. I certainly did not vote for him.

  • Ron Paul on one side, Alan Grayson on the other. Good luck to everyone who opposes the Constitution with that duo breathing down your neck.

It's amazing how Ron and Alan make Politicians look silly by simply sticking up for the people.

Also, goes to show how intelligent the Founding Fathers were when writing a document 200 years ago, that still somehow applies to everyday use, regardless of civilization changing so drastically. Quite a feat in my opinion.

  • Grayson should run for president!

  • Grayson, the only one looking out for Americans.

  • Grayson FTW. Damn that guy is everything that is right with politics!

  • Amazing! We need 50 more just LIKE HIM

  • Grayson/Anyone - 2014!!!

  • @jezmundberserker For what office?

  • @whirlwindbliss: The White-friggin'-House!!! I know it's not gonna happen, EVER. But what the heck, I think it would be cool and, if you think America needs a more progressive agenda (real progressive, not the stupid crap Beck and everyone on Fox News talks about) Grayson-Dean, for example, would be great. Obama... what a disappointment. Soon to become a complete sell-out.

  • @jezmundberserker in 2014?

  • @whirlwindbliss: Oops, sorry. I meant 2012.

  • @jezmundberserker At this point we are only supporting Obama because the rabid Republicans are attacking him.

  • @needparalegal: Sad, isn't it?

  • Grayson belongs on the Supreme Court--where he can do the most for the longest time! America Needs Alan Grayson!!

  • Republicans getting called on their ignorance and bullshit is awesome. Thank you.

  • @EvanWilding: Isn't it refreshing?

  • Alan Grayson for President.

  • I love it when Grayson is always being asked "will the gentleman yield?" and he says "NO" no BS zone.. these slimy republicans never want to give a str8 answer they always try to redirect the conversation with talking points..as the indians would say "white man speaks with a forked tongue"

  • "Would the gentlemen please yield?" x5

    No x5.

  • Grayson should run for President he wals and talks like a guy who respects the Constitution and really cares about the people of America.

  • I love to watch this over and over

  • Comment removed

  • this guy is baaaadaaasss

  • did you notice Broun had to get help from his secretary. He is a medical doctor not a senator he cant understand.

  • Owned.

  • I havent seen a Republican get owned like that since British MP George Galloway was turned loose on Senator Norm Coleman.

  • Whether this is a bill of attainder is irrelevant because the funding of such organizations is unconstitutional to begin with. Funding those organizations is not a delegated or enumerated power given to the Congress by the Constitution.

  • Like funding the MIC corps i.e Blackwater? Or my personal favorite, funding religious orgs to provide charity to the neediest folks in our communities? It goes both ways.

  • Where did I say that those things should be funded? I don't think any religious organizations should be funded. But don't tell that to Obama because he expanded on Bush's "faith-based initiative" programs. And I certainly don't believe that mercenaries should be funded to help fight an unconstitutional war. I'm not picking and choosing anything. All of these things are unconstitutional and Grayson is not being consistent.

  • @VirginiaNative1689

Its an organization that helps provide funding to buy homes for poorer people.... Why does every republican think ACORN is some super sinister group with political ties everywhere. Watching too much faux news .

  • First of all, I'm not a Republican. Second, I watch MSNBC just as much as I watch Fox. Third, whether ACORN's activities are sinister is completely irrelevant to the issues I've raised. As I've said before, providing funding to such organizations is not an enumerated power given to the Federal government by the Constitution. Period.

  • lol. I love Alan Grayson, always calling someone out and putting them on the spot. But, thats why you should know what you're talkin about cause the other guy didnt

  • First, Grayson is wrong. This isn't a bill of attainder, he needs better research.

Second, this is the same Grayson who wants to limit salaries for companies he deems irresponsible. Hmmm, do those companies get trials? Just wondering how "Constitutional" that is Mr. Grayson.

  • Jim,you're a moron of the 1st degree. Of course this is a Bill of Attainder. Singling out an org. specifically for legislative punishment without the benefit of trial is exactly what a Bill of Attainder is and therefore unconstitutional. In this case, Congress encroached upon the power of the Judiciary (an equal branch of the US govt.), by singling out an individual org. for punishment without going through the court system where evidence and effective defense would have been required.

  • Comment removed

  • You are either For the Constitution or against it. Which is it? Bills of Attainder are unconstitutional. If we are shredding the Constitution - what say you on the 2nd and 1st amendments?

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think they can name all the branches of government sadly to know what branch the Judiciary falls under. Civics is dead in America, the people have no clue.

  • Yeah, I'm sure Grayson has a deep misunderstanding of the constitution. It's not as if he made his living, prior joining congress, as an independently wealthy, Harvard educated attorney, who's specialty was going after Iraq war contractors. I'm sure you are more familiar with the law than him though.

  • I've never seen a Political ass whupping like this before. You can hear Graysons bitchslap it's so effective.

  • Hard core conservative here, don't like Grayson's support of health care, but I do think he's serving on principle, which is so very rare now.

  • 'Will the gentleman yield?'

    'No.'

    BAHAHAHAHA!

  • That. Was. Awesome.

    More please!

  • I love this dialogue! I did a remix of it at watch?v=AYO-po_OSOg

  • Grayson is interesting... I agree with him 25% of the time. This is one of them.

when i do, I love the guy. when I don't...

  • GOP Rep just got bitch slapped!

  • Now you, Mr. Grayson, make me proud to be American. I live in Georgia. Representatives such as Mr. Broun and Phil Gingrey are ignorant fools. Thank you.

  • You just gotta love Grayson!

  • Clearly they want him to drop the subject. Grayson, will you yield? No. Grayson, will you yeild? NO.

  • Props and respect to Alan. Thanks for your tireless efforts to uphold our precious and sacred constitution.

  • Gee for some reason he cut the last part off watch?v=nFX4KMZ6AGU

Next time make an appointment also

  • Wow, A real human in D.C.!

  • The issue being discussed in this video is whether the congress was abusing its power in 'judging' ACORN as guilty and cutting their funding, when in fact it is the role of the judiciary (and not congress) to determine guilt of an entity receiving government funding.

  • Well said

  • "no." haha that's so great. more!

  • Comment removed

  • Grayson's a frigin pitbull...

we need more passionate congressmen/women like him

  • @ASentinel2 your mother pays to have someone jump her

  • @justonefirefly1 gas 'jumping' even higher thanks to a moratorium by your savior president of piss obama on gulf oil drilling until 2017.

  • @ASentinel2 Prices did not jump until the repukelicons got back in...really this is like watching professional wrestling. you know who is going to win and dumb fuckingass look in the ocean - they are still drilling - you dumbass you are paying for their criminal murder of their employees and their stupidity. did you think they were? ha they have their fucking repukelicons and fuck net work protec ting them

  • @justonefirefly1 this is comical...not only are you uninformed but your own comments convey your ignorance.

Inflation on the rise since beginning of the year - grocery prices up 6% over that period. Uh..Republicans don't take office (the new ones dopey...) till January.. OOPS...guess you got that wrong too.

Obama's 7 year moratorium on gulf oil drilling is in effect, and NO, they are NOT drilling in the Gulf. Really. Google it. They also read info like this on TV. On News and stuff

  • @ASentinel2 7 year moraorium - what the hell are you taking? take some more. They read bullshit on Fox spews all the time like they don't bother to mentions that the fucking republicunts blocked the 9/11 reponder bill - republicunts the biggest fucking liars and rupert little penis murdock - yeh they are piece of shit and most are not americans and check out how many republicans have ever served 2 or 3
