Okay. Clearing this up for EVERYONE. Shinji lost control of his Persona which killed Ken's Mom. Shinji had a persona naturally, he just took the drugs from Strega to help control it after the accident. Ken went after Shinji without all the facts yes, but he isn't why Shinji died. Takuya would have shot someone if he found them anyways, plus Shinji was dying due to drugs. In the end, both are fine characters and we don't need to pick on either one.

@neokai82 not exactly the people who took the drugs took them because thier personas came out whenever they poleased and tried to kill them. the drugs keep the persona in check so it wont go out of control they can use it but its painful and difficult for them to call it out since they have to force it out
