  • I need to go but I am poor.:(

  • I love Stockholm, beautiful city. Greetings from Russia.

  • I always love to travel. Great video there, this is engaging. Keep up the good work!

  • I'm so happy I get to go there for at least twice a year :). Absolutely one of my favourite places in the world! Göteborg is also stunning. Love from Finland

  • My grandmother came from Källsjö Sweden, near Ljungby in 1886. When I was small she would tell stories of Sweden. One story was that her farfar [grandfather] travelled all over Sweden. He was in the Army. She said he would come home and speak of how beautiful Stockholm was, and how pretty the flowers were at the palace.

    I guess times haven't changed.

  • great!!!!!!!!!

  • I went to stockholm a couple a month ago. Stayed there for 6 weeks. Its probably the most beautiful city ive seen. A hidden secret!

Yes- hella expensive! But DAMN.. atleast the government compensates!!! They take care of their people- taxes are going to the right places.

I will visit this city again. I swear it!

  • Did she just say that Stockholm is the capital of Sweden...and Canada?

  • @Darklightz666 hahaha sure sounds like it, i think she said "candidate" though

  • I've never been there, but Stockholm has to be so beautiful.

  • I will come in this city in autummn,I hope the weather will be nice and not too cold...Beautiful pleaces..I can't waith :x

  • Stockholm is indeed a beautiful city! Greetings from Norway :-)

  • I lived in and near Stockholm for 2 years in the early 70s. Beautiful beautiful city and wonderful people .. great memories from there ...

  • I lived in Stockholm for 18 years and moved to New York City.

To be honest, Stockholm is nice to visit for couple of days, but it gets boring after.

It's not a nice place to live. The climate if only nice for about a month or so in the summer, then it's usually cloudy and chilly year-round. Winters are cold, snowy and very dark (only 6 hours of daylight in December), but 18 hours of daylight in summer.

It's very expensive too! Sales tax is 25%.

  • @frenchienofrog

How did you enjoy Sweden, especially with regards to Stockholm?

  • what can i say sweden is the best

  • Stockholm is very nice but could be very very hectic; then I like citys like Oslo/Norway or Regensburg (Ratisbona) in Germany much better

  • I want to go there so bad >-<

  • Stockholm, beautiful Stockholm. Everyone was so friendly when I visited. Shame it's expensive, but it seems much of Sweden and Norway are like that. I had a cappuccino for £7.50 rather than £5.50 because I'd naively said "Yes please" when the waitress asked if I'd like a small biscuit on the side! It was the size of a 50p and resembled the free ones you get in Marks & Spencers cafes. I did laugh when she gave me the bill.

  • I would prefer to listen and watch to a Swedish rather than an English woman

  • I been living in stockholm for 4 month and believe me its a beautiful city and also has the most beautiful men in earth lol...True

  • @linday2009 I'm fully swedish and i' have been livinng in Stockholm gor over ten years now! My favourite part about Stockholm is "gamla stan" (Old town)

  • Oslo is much nicer!

  • I miss my BEAUTIFUL hometown!!:(

  • Anything that's Scandinavian is so beautiful. Especially the people (;

  • Capitol of Scandinavia, baby!

  • It feels strange living in Stockholm everyday when ppl are dying to get here XD

  • @Ciara181 why so ? they are right ! .... u r lucky .. ive been there in 2008 and i really loved it ..

  • @Ciara181 yeah lucky you!

  • reminds me of pippi

  • Djurgården is amazing as well. I am from New Hampshire, USA (Northeast USA) so it reminds me of home!

  • A shame that swedish women usually don't have slender bodies as Sarah the brit.

  • I'm going to Sweden in a month, people look really nice, so I'm really excited about it because it's the second time in my life I leave France !

  • lol ! "Neverending jetlag"

    Too right!

  • Crazy-Swedes run marathons at midnight?

What is crazy about that? It's just boooring and not crazy at all.

    Det är inte spännande :)

  • Its not boring running marathons it might be boring to watch, but not to run!

  • Where is a good spot in Sweden to view country side and club scene?

  • just go to stockholm and you can club as much as you want, then take one of the boats from the city out to the archipelago.

  • depends where you move adi...mainly in the south they are disliked but if your here for study we love yaXD

  • is it true that Swedish hate immigrants? cause i might be moving there for university. it makes me feeling unwelcome.

  • Some people hate them others dont mind and some think they are good for the future of Sweden. If you are from the middle-east reality is that people generally dont like them, unfortunatly they feel tired of them...

  • nup..they love immigrants..most of my family moved there..over 60000 iraq refugees moved there

  • Not at all.

    You're welcome!

  • No we dont hate immigrants XD Just see malmö its full of immigrants dont wory :P

  • i have heard swedish people are friendly. someday i will visit Sweden ! from USA

  • well, some swedes are nice but some are not. it depends on who you meet so if you visit the right places you will be happy.

  • I heard the same thing about Swedish. what a shame

  • those who hate immigrants do that because they're stupid, not because they're swedes. so i think you're welcome there. but if not, welcome to norway :D

  • Well some swedes do but that's immigrants who doesn't follow the laws and are criminal. I'm sure no one will hate you, if you follow the laws. But you will be much more accepted if you speak Swedish or English. Good luck with the studies.

  • im afraid i got to say, Depends on where ur from. The swedish population are extreamly racist agains mostly black- and people with arabic culture. Sad to say it but its true

  • @Fillifjonken what r u talking about? Have u been brainwashed by our left media and ourpoliticians? We are the most tolerable and accepting society in Europe, accepting more immigrants than any other country.

  • It's not that people hate immigrants, people hate the politicians in this damn country, its just words, for now.

We bring in more immigrants then we can cary, and alot of them is being held outside "Swedish" society witch just make alot of immigrant-tight poor suburbs.

One of our county took under one month more Iraqis then the whole of USA, now we got to feed this people and that is from the already working peoples pockets. This we do anyday with a smile, just hope other countrys do the same.

  • @mongolen Times are changing..

  • I wish I can come there next year. Pls God!

  • Stockholm at summer= <3

  • Did she visit the "Gaza neighborhoods" in Stockholm or Malamo ?

  • We actually use "stunned grenades" towards evil tourists so beware!

  • love how she pronounced Djurgården... Yorgarden.

  • I've been all over Europe , and I can say , without reservation, Stockholm is the most beautiful city in Europe. I'm dying to go back there!

  • did she said that stockholm is the most beautiful capital in europe?:D

  • i'll be there in a couple of days (=

  • hehe doing crazy things because of the climate, i agree i'm actually abit nuts lol

  • in a month i will see this city....this seem fantastic

  • Oh my god! you got to go there!! Stockholm is so, so beautiful!

  • I sooo need to go there :D

  • I´m from Liverpool with swedish inheritance and I´ve been travelling all over the world within the job! And I must say that Stocholm is inded the most beutiful capital of the earth!

  • @Beatnikful LIVERPOOL YEAH :D ynwa :)

  • i live in stockholm :D but it is realy long winter :(

  • Well don't complain I live in the northern parts of Sweden and we have a much longer winter here. :)

  • go watch a hockeygame, probably the biggest swedish trademark

  • Theres just something ever so relaxing about these Travel Channel quickies

If I was back in my depressed, broke, anxiety ridden days,I would only ask of 2 things

    1. A beautiful exotic woman to accompany me to a

    2. Beautiful exotic location like this

No cold, grey, and grimy streets with women who don't even take the time to better themselves, instead just go to Wal-Mart in their dirty, dingy sweat pants, and flip-floppy sandals with their dirty toes, who thinks they are thee hottest :-P

  • I second that. Me and you, my friend, are on the same page. Thumbs up.
