you must make it such as when arrows are clicked the ground moves and not your character if you need objects to come out from the screen you need to make it do it when one of your other objects on the screen is in the right position.

@rock1197 its easy. Make a variable called scrollX and a place to walk on called Terrian0. Put this script in terrian 0:when flag clicked, set scrollx to scrollx*0. Now if you made the character move, it will now scroll.

To every terrian, (terrian 1, terrian 2) put in the number of the terrian(terrian 1=when flag clicked, set scrollx to scrollx*1) Make sure you start with terrian0

@rock1197 You must use the X factor to swap out your background. Check the "Scroll Demo" that comes pre-installed with Scratch for some basis on how to do it. I must warn you though, it does make for a large game and they often run slow. Still if you have the dedication to do it, it will probably be worth it.
