Allow me to disagree with you. The copts and the rest of those Churches mentioned by you do not accept the decisions of the 4'th Oecumenical Council of Calcedon (451 AD), which stated that Jesus Christ has 2 "phisis", or natures - hence the apearance of "monophisitism", an heresy they did embrace.

So, be careful, some people may think that this monophisitism thing is of no importance, but it is crucial - many christians died because of it.

We should be very careful when labeling someone as a monophysite. I believe you are familiar with the fact that our Oriental brethren use the term "mia" and not  "mono". I also believe that you are aware about Christological differences of these terms.

Copts and other Orientals do not deny Christ's humanity. They do not diminish it nor mix it with His Divinity. On the contrary: they also affirm His complete human nature as we, Orthodox, do.

I attend a Greek Orthodox Church. Our priest who is greek explained that it is NOT Greek Easter. It is Eastern Orthodox Easter. Orthodox is not for ONE. It is for EVERYone. Not trying to argue with you, just wanted to clarify that. Alot of Greeks (me included) has called it that. I don't anymore though. Hope you had a Blessed Holy Week!

This video's so solemn. I thought that we were to be happy because Christ gave up his life for us. Though it is rather sad, thinking about what they did to Christ, like casting lots for and selling his clothing/garments. I'm not sure that Christ's dieing helped this world as a whole, but I do know that his dieing helped many others turn their lives for the better. I think the resurrection song is meant to be sung more happily. It's a time for celebration.

Although I don't agree with this type of "orchestration", the lady provides ELEMENTS of tradition that other sentimentalist chauno-eispnoic "angelic" singers DON'T.

She ANTICIPATES consonants, does anisochronous temporal divisions + provides some correct PSALTIC intervals when repeating the hymn at the very beginning.

As for the rest, it's a pity that ECCLESIASTICAL hymns are being "redecorated"

This is beautifully done! And I should know what all the seperate words mean...but I don't. It's slightly embarrasing, but I go to a Greek Church, and I hardly know any Greek. I love this hymn, though. It's my favorite, along with Tikey Zes' (I think that's how you spell his name, I'm not sure) "Soma Christou" and Cherubic Hymn.
