Its not a question of "making light of violence is bad", but more of a "making light of female to male violence is more acceptable because it does not occur in anything even close to the numbers that male to female violence occurs". @bradyhallvideos It is a logical fallacy to think that just because something negative happens less that it is more acceptable, I'll spare you any examples although there are an infinite amount. In the video she kills only males. She is saying "fuck men". This is misandry. The issue is not necessarily with the video itself(freedom of speech and all), but with your admission, and the general acceptance that female on male violence is fine because they're just balancing the murder meter. Get it?

I assure you that nobody involved with the song/video (me & Katy) were thinking "fuck men" when we created either. If your contention is that "making light of all violence is bad" then that's OK and you are entitled to your opinion and are encouraged to perceive this video however you want. But that perception does not jibe with our actual intent.

I love her voice! She has a dreamy velvety voice. This video is by amazing filmmaker Brady Hall, who created the Vivian Girls two brilliant videos, “Moped Girls” and “When I’m Gone.” Beautiful work!
