Making a movie based on WoW would be stupid... They just need to do a trilogy on the first 3 Warcraft games. No WoW... at all! WoW is my favorite game but, please don't make a movie based on an MMORPG, if you do. start off with Warcraft 1!!!

I agree as with most storylines, the first of the series (this game) is the best! i hope that when they make a movie, they base it off of where it started not where it is now.....World of Warcraft. ick! if only i could put my ideas into CGI effectivley then i wouldn't wait. :(

warcraft 1 and 2 still kept the integrity of the horde. warcraft 3 and especially world of warcraft made the orcs look so emotional and caring. not to mention warcraft 2 forest trolls w/ zul'jin own any other trolls.

Yes, after the Orcs lost in Warcraft II they were held in internment camps an oppressed. By the time Warcraft III starts the Orcs have given up the demon-worshipping culture they had in WC1 and WC2 and became shamanistic(nature/spirit worshipers).

Warcraft 3 is a good game - it made the world bigger and richer and brought back many elements from Warcraft 1 I missed in Warcraft 2 (like Dungeon missions and Raiders) and balanced everything superbly (stronger Grunts ftw!), unfortunately the whole kiddy-oriented tone completely destroyed it for me.

In a perfect world, Blizzard would do a Warcraft IV RTS that brings back the tone of the older games - I can live with brighter, friendlier colors, but lets try a little less cheese

@Typanoid I think the tone of the older games is like that of WC3. Warcraft has always been cheesy. The opening for this video is cheesy. The series just has some dark moments as well (Arthas killing the king). Maybe it's just because WC1 has bad graphics which makes it appear darker (it's the same with SC1 vs SC2 and Diablo 1 and 2 vs Diablo 3).
