Well that's Obama being an anti military idiot, nothing to do with the F-22. I don't really understand, billions to save the production lines at GM making shit cars, but cut backs to stop the brands-panking-new-state -of-the-art production line making the F-22A. It really isn't that expensive anyways, when a single $130m F-22A can take on $280m worth of 4th gen fighters.... But oh well, Obama wants to waste a trillion $ on total bullshit, so why do we need F-22's....

i don't really know. i don't think they'd use it as a trainer since the new carrier jet is the F/A-18 which is completely different.

So i guess it is for good, the F-15 is going out soon as well, i think in 3-4 years and the F/A-18 and 16 will go a year later

The F-15E's will be in service for a while longer yet (20 years) there just aren't enough F-22's to fully replace them, though older airframes will be retired.

The F-14 was never a "NATO" fighter, the only operators of the F-14 were the U.S. Navy and Iranian Air Force.

It was a nice plane, though it only killed MiG-21s and lower. But what i liked about it was that it (on a number of occasions) forced MiG-25s to retreat.

I know. I just needed to upload a vid really fast as i usually upload one each week. F-14 seemed logical. But its a shite NATO fighter so i didn't really bither to make it that good.
